We lost my dad four years ago and the cemetery where he is buried is abit remote, as my mum likes to go, she’s normally alone and I fear for her safety…so I bought her this spray to pop in her pocket to stop worrying and to keep her safe, it’s a lovely village where she lives but you can’t be too careful nowadays. She has an attack alarm but no one would hear it, so this spray is better for her. Ideal size and easy to use, I can sleep without worrying about her. SUPERB and great price!

The idea of this product sounds great as a pepper spray alternative and it is certainly 'bigged up' in the description. Mine arrived with no packaging and half the label ripped off. The outer label already had a purplish tinge staining to it which makes me think it was already used.In my testing I found the reality of its use to be maybe a little less amazing. The little spray bottle does as claimed and spray a jet of liquid up to about 3 metres distance, and this stuff is bright purple so will definitely stain anything it comes into contact with. However, I found this out the hard way because in use the liquid also dribbles down from the nozzle and gets all over your hands! It took me a good 5 minutes scrubbing with soap and water to remove it. It is also claimed to have a foul smell. It does not. I have a very sensitive nose and can tell you that it smells of absolutely nothing whatsoever. So in the event of using this on an attacker what is it going to do? It will stain them with purple liquid, but whether this will actually deter them is another matter. So I'd say that this could be used for identifying an attacker rather than deterring them.The bottle itself has a keyring attachment and a belt clip and is small enough to fit in a pocket or your handbag, you twist the tab on the top of the cap to use it and turn it back so the nozzle is not visible when not in use to stop it getting accidentally activated, but this tab has very little resistance and could easily get turned in your pocket or bag and if it got accidentally activated it would be a disaster.Overall I have mixed feelings on this product. It's a nice idea but the fact that it doesn't smell and you also get covered in purple dye as well as an attacker is quite annoying and I whilst it would cover an attacker in hard to remove dye I am still to be convinced that it would actually stop them.

This legal NOYZIE spray comes on without any extra packaging.The bottle is small so you can carry in it your pocket/ bag/ car or wherever you feel you need it. It also has a handy key chain meaning you can attach it to your keys and carry about with you. There is also a belt clip if you want to wear it.Thankfully I haven’t had to use it yet so I’m not sure how effective it actually is. I bought the self-defence spray as I often walk home late from work and wanted something to feel a bit more secure. Since it’s UK legal and pepper spray isn’t an option here, I figured this would be the next best thing for personal protection. The fact that it’s small enough to attach to your keys and comes with a belt clip made it seem really practical.It’s surprisingly compact, which makes it easy to carry without feeling bulky. I’ve got it attached to my keychain, and it doesn’t get in the way at all. The UV marking feature is a clever addition, as it adds that extra level of protection, knowing that an attacker could be identified even after the fact. I haven’t had to use it (thankfully!), but it feels reassuring to know it’s there if I ever need it.I did a couple of test sprays to get a feel for it, and the nozzle seems reliable. It gives a decent spray range, so I wouldn’t need to be too close to someone to use it effectively. The 15ml size may sound small, but it’s enough for several sprays, which should be more than enough in an emergency.The only downside is that the spray itself doesn’t have a strong deterrent effect like pepper spray would, so it’s more about marking the attacker for identification later rather than incapacitating them in the moment. That said, it’s still a useful deterrent, and anything that buys you time to get away is a plus in my book.Overall, I think it’s a great option for anyone looking to feel safer while out and about. It’s easy to carry, legal in the UK, and gives peace of mind. It’s not a complete replacement for stronger self-defence tools, but it’s a good extra layer of protection to have.

Bought three for my wife and daughters, but... The closure system, to prevent the spray accidentally going off in a bag or pocket, isn't effective at all. That instantly makes the product non-portable, and thus practically useless.

I'm not really entirely sure what effect this would have in a situation other than cause confusion and buy the victim some time, but better than nothing!I had meant to test it on a tiny patch of my skin and to see how the spray action handled. Sensitive is the answer! I was sat on the sofa at home and went to just do a little squirt onto my wrist. The wall opposite (at least 3 meters away)ended up being redecorated with a pink graffitti esque splurge. Banksy it was not.So the reach is amazing. I couldn't detect any foul smell. The colour is a bright stain although good to know if you get it on fabric it does easily wash out.I will keep in my handbag on the basis that of anyone pulled any kind of weapon on me I would aim straight for their eyes it would certainly hinder their aim if nothing else!!
