Wonderful!
Where we live it is very difficult to obtain certain foods that meet our requirements. This cheese is very very good. I purchased the ground version and it melts nicely especially when I make carbonara. Yum! The package arrived quickly and the cheese was still very cool to the touch. Thank you.

Wonderful cheese
I ordered on Aug 2 and it shipped on Aug 3. I received it Aug 5 and it still had a chill. It was sent by FedEx and it came well packaged. It was sent from New York to Sacramento Calif. The company knows what it takes to get it here cold. Bravo!. I will order again as I am one happy customer. Thank you for this wonderful cheese that makes my garden pesto the best!

Incredible flavor and easy to use.
I love the deliciousness of this cheese and I didn't have to grate it myself. Well worth the extra money to get the authentic cheese like I had when I was in Italy.

Quite salty, and POWDERED?!
I've purchased two different brands of Pecorino Romano from Italy recently. The real thing. Although buying in block is really the real thing. Anyway, I bought what they said was "grated". And why not? you often grate cheese, right? Well this was NOT grated, it was POWDERED! Whose brilliant idea was that? It was advertised as grated, so GRATE IT! Powdered cheese is nonsense--doesn't work. OK, now why so salty? They probably say "tradition". Baloney! Too salty means less flavor, i.e. the flavor is overwhelmed. Other than these two shortcomings, pretty nice stuff. Should be five stars but.... Boar's Head brand has (just?) come out with a grated Pecorino Romano from Italy. I'll be checking that out pretty soon. Let's hope it isn't powdered and overly salty!!

Very finely grated. Melts into and thickens sauces.
I prefer hard cheeses grated on the finest side of a box grater. This is almost that fine.Mixed it into an olive oil based clam sauce. The cheese melted into it and thickened it. Beautiful! Fabulous flavor.
