Good product but somewhat pricey

I have tried 3 flavors of these delectable meal replacement shakes and found that in both forms, including the high protein variety, that the price is very high but the value is definitely there. The product is sourced from REAL foods, not a bunch of chemicals and fake nutrients that do no good whatsoever. Orgain is superior in every aspect. The taste of these shakes is delicious. I add Collagen and other nutrient powders to my shakes and I use one of those delightful little hand held milk frothers to mix the powders into the shake slowly. It makes the most delectable creamy, frothy shakes that are so wonderful for health. The blessing of one of these shakes first thing in the morning is that they do not leave you with a sugar high or sugar crash. I have found that one shake at 7AM lasts me until 2PM, when I then opt for either a regular, small portion meal, or another shake with more nutrient powders. My gut issues have settled down in nearly magical ways. So thrilled with a truly nutrient dense shake that feeds your cells what they need without the phony hype that other brands promote on TV. Orgain Organic Nutritional Shakes are the BEST!!! And in 21 days I have lost 10 pounds without the false hunger that sabotages most diets.

I first bought these for a family member who eats a very nutrient-poor diet and was starting to have health issues. They also aren't keen on taking any pills. So, while I know that healthy food is the optimal source of nutrition, it just wasn't possible. I did some research and asked around about a drink that could replace a multivitamin and Orgain kept coming up. I loved that it also had 16g of protein, because this family member also doesn't eat enough and struggles to keep weight on. Not to mention the protein is whey from grass fed cows! So many of the protein sources in such things are soy-derived. After reading about the effects of soy (and how it acts like estrogen in the body) I only allow a small amount in my diet and that of my kids. Plus, the benefits of grassfed over industrial grain fed are clear...not to mention easier on the conscience . So far we have tried the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. This family member is also very picky, but loves the strawberry cream flavor! Vanilla is our second favorite. When I bought them, I tried them and I now buy them for us too. My kids love them! And I drink them now as a treat. While they seem pricey per drink at first, if you compare it to buying a soda or coffee while you're out it's about the same, tastes as good and is good for you rather than a drain on your health like soda, unfortunately.

This only tastes good if I mix it with a heaping teaspoon of sugar and lots of ice cubes. It does not taste like strawberries, but it has a fruit flavor. If you look at the ingredients, there are no strawberries in it. This contains raspberry, banana, blueberry, and other fruits and vegetables, but no strawberry. It has a very thin consistency compared to other brands of protein shakes. It is a light pink color, which is nice. After I drink this, it makes me feel good. But it is not filling at all. It does not work as a meal replacement. It might be okay as a snack. It does not give you all the vitamins and minerals that you need, but it has some nutritional value. This has all natural ingredients, and there is no artificial coloring.

I have health issues that make meal replacement something I use on a daily basis. Have for many years usually in the morning because that is when I feel the least like eating or preparing a meal. I have used brands such as Ensure and Boost as well as store brands and the first thing I notice is that their product is almost a neon pink. Orgain I had not heard of before my boyfriend recommended it to me. The first thing I noticed was no neon pink color. Here are some other things I have noticed: - No off putting odor or after taste -No overly sweet taste -Is a little like soy milk in appearance - Does have what I call a mild flavor profile compared to over flavored competitors both national and store brands. - I personally never felt full on those other meal replacements with Orgain I feel full often only after half a container. Making the recloseable cap nice. - With Orgain I have noticed that I feel better a few hours after drinking it. Where the opposite was true with other replacements. I have also tried chocolate fudge. My opinion is based on just three days of use. I checked with my doctor before trying Orgain and they approved. I would recommend Orgain for anyone considering trying a meal replacement or for those unhappy with their current one. ******UPDATED**** After a few days I realized their is NO strawberries in this drink it is a blend of raspberries that give it, the strawberry flavor. So that is a little misleading. After a couple of months I found myself gravitating more and more to the chocolate flavor & stopped buying the strawberry. This is because I would rather have chocolate and not due to the quality of the product. ** Footnote I had to stop using this product do to Allergy issues. I would still recommend to others

I purchased the strawberries & cream flavor. It was smooth, creamy and actually tasted like a real strawberry milk shake.
