Purchased this prior to a trip to Jerez. I only new the rudiments of the different sherry making processes and styles, this book filled every gap and answered every question that I had. A must have if you want to learn in depth about these wonderfully complex wines. Requires a certain level of commitment and focus as it contains no diagrams or illustrations. The bodega profiles are detailed and very interesting, telling you what bottlings to seek/try for each of them. His tips on how to store and consume sherry are very helpful as well as the section on visiting Jerez. Great read, I highly recommend it!

A!well-written and detailed book on Sherry which describes everything you would ever need to know about this wonderful drink. Ideal if you are planning a visit to the region as it goes through the history of each bodega. This seller is amazing as got book to me in record time for a last minute birthday present.
