5 star (if you want a basic alarm clock at a budget price). Simple design. No snooze button.
Review for AYRELY® 3.5 Inch Small Analog Alarm Clocks,Battery Operated Desk Clock,Cute Table Clock.I review things for their intended purpose. I look to see if the manufacturer has the correct description and photos. Does the item work well for its intended purpose? This is one of those basic items that it is great at what it does. If you want all the bells and whistles, then you will need a different alarm clock. This alarm clock is very old-school, analog style. This is the most basic alarm clock that you can get that runs on a battery. (It isn't wind-up, where you then forget to wind it and oversleep, ack!).This clock runs on one AA battery. (No cords, so you can use this when you camp or have a power outage.)There are 4 controls on the back of the clock. One dial to set the time. One dial to set ONE alarm (no, you don't get a snooze button or 2 alarm times). An on/off button to set your one alarm time. And a raised white button that turns on a very tiny, dim light so that you can see the time in the dark. (No your clock face does not glow at night.)The alarm is not loud. If you hate loud alarm clocks, then this one has a medium beeping sound. (No, you can't choose your alarm sounds either.) If you need loud noises to wake you up, then this alarm clock won't work for you. This is the alarm clock that you set across the room so that you have to walk to turn it off. You don't get a second alarm if you sleep through the first one. You don't get a snooze button. You get one alarm. The dials on the back are old school. You can't set the alarm hand to 7:07, as an example. You have to point the alarm hand to the approximate time you want to get up, like 7 o'clock (and you don't get an AM or a PM choice either). Then the alarm will hopefully go off at 7 and not at 7:04. In my testing, my 8am alarm went off at 7:58.The alarm does not build in sound. The sound stays at one level until you flip the off switch on the back. The white light button is easy to find in the dark, as it is raised. If you wake in the middle of the night, you can groggily grope the back of the clock until you feel the button. Press the white button, and it is a bit of a disappointment. It connects to a small light at the number 1. This creates a glow that lets you read the rest of the numbers on the clock. I had hoped that the whole clock would light up, but that is not the case. I would have preferred a glow in the dark clock face, but this clock does not have that either. If you have trouble with inserting the battery, the positive side (side with the bump) of the battery goes to the left. (If they had a + and - inside the battery case, it was hard to find.) The battery case cover feels flimsy and is a bit tricky to snap back into place. If you don't hear a click, then the cover probably isn't secure and will fall back off.The clock's case is metal. The stand is metal. The back, however is plastic. The stand rotates and lets you set the clock at an angle. You can angle the clock face up or down for better viewing. The clock face says that it has a quartz movement. This means that the clock should keep the correct time without having to adjust it over longer periods. The sound comes out of the holes in the back of the clock. If you want to go old school, where you don't have to read an instruction manual every time you want to set your dual digital alarms to the exact minute that you want to wake up, then this is a great little travel clock. (I hate trying to figure out my camper's alarm clock every time we travel. It has 2 alarms, with different settings and sounds, and it needs an instruction manual.)It is analog. Nothing digital about it. It is basic. It works. And it has a retro charm. If you want simple, intuitive clock design at a budget price, then this is your clock.

prompt delivery, nice product
I really like the clean, crisp, modern vibe of this "old" idea. I choose not to have a phone in my bedroom at night and have this clock to use as an alarm. The alarm is simple to set (on/off) - so each evening you would set it. You can't see the clock in the dark. To some this might be a negative. I am ok with it. I can recommend this analog clock.

Cute and simple!
Great little clock! What l like most is how simple it is. Analog dial. Does not need to charge or plug in. Uses one AA battery, and the battery compartment is easy to open. Two round knobs on the back – turning one sets the clock time, turning the other sets the alarm time. On/off switch for the alarm. That’s it. Nothing complicated! The color labeled “light blue” is really more of an aqua, which I like. The color and style have a bit of a mid-century modern vibe. The clock face can be moved up and down so you can view at the best angle. Heavy enough not to fall over or slide easily. I’d say it weighs about as much as a full can of soda. One thing to remember. Since this is analog and there is no am/pm indicator, you’ll only be able to set the alarm time up to 12 hours in advance. In other words, if it’s 6pm and you move the alarm indicator to “7”, it will go off at 7pm. Because of course, there’s only one 7 on the clock face.If you’re looking for a easy, pretty, no-outlet-needed table clock, this is great option.

You get what you pay for
Technically, it works. The speaker seems to struggle making the alarm sound. You can’t set a precise alarm time because it is just a hand you point at the hour, so when I try to set it to 7:00 it go off at 7:03. Not a big deal. The light on mine doesn’t work at all, either.

Ayrely Clock: Sparks Joy while being nearly as quiet as a butterfly's wings
To borrow a phrase from Marie Condo, the AYRELY® 3.5 Inch analog clock sparks joy! I have zero buyer’s remorse. The simplicity of the clock is simply perfect as is the color – blue. The clock feels substantial There is great attention to details such as the 60 gradations on the clock face, the clock dial is a perfect shade of white, and the black hands for hour and minute complement this color as does the red second hand, and the font of the numerals is readable and a perfect selection for the overall unit. The clock also has the C E designation meaning that the clock has passed a series of tests showing that it can work near other electronic products without causing interference. This is important if the clock is destined for use on a desk with other electronics. The manufacturer has printed the directions for the clock on the rear of the box above the C E designation. The clock is simple to operate in keeping with its overall design theme. There is only one major shortcoming – the back of the clock does not exude the high quality as the rest of the clock. I am fine with this shortcoming – to paraphrase Sun Tzu – you cannot be strong everywhere.Bravo to the designers, manufacturers, and the sellers – they have combined to generate a great five-star product!
