Good & Comfy for the Price
Comfortable and easy to wear for hours without my ears hurting. Sony has nailed the design for long term wear for all wireless Bluetooth earbuds I've owned. Does not fall out easily and fits ergonomically. I am confident I won't lose these easily. I love the large button pressed to control music, calls, etc. I enjoy that it's not touch-sensitive like Samsung earbuds, which have been falsely set off by my hair or beanie. My complaints: these buttons are not programmable: what type of madman want people to press 4 times to change volume up/down? I would also love a "Find Earbuds" function if they are connected to a device, but the owner isn't sure where they placed them. Noise cancellation is non-existent, but you have ambient sound (listen to your surroundings) if you wish to have both music and some situational awareness. The case is *slim*, much slimmer than Sony's previous cases. Sound is very decent for the price. With the latest iterations of Bluetooth, these earbuds can be connected to 2 devices at a time, but they cannot play sound from both sources at once. All in all, I recommend if you need a decent and comfortable pair of earbuds with which to listen to music and audio for hours. Sometimes, I use them for more than 6 hours and I'm surprised the battery still goes strong. I've been using them for 5 months now, and like other Sony earbuds I've owned in the past, I expect their longevity to last years.

Sony WF-C510 -- Good Audio For Cheap
1) The sound of the WF-C510 is really good right out of the box without EQ. I listen to a lot of music, various genres, and everything is balanced and in control. Punchy bass, treble that's crisp and doesn't make my ears bleed, and decent mids. I definitely trust Sony when it comes to audio products. 2) Fit and comfort are amazing! I can leave these in all day. No joke, after 5+ hours of use, I feel zero discomfort. Not only are these earbuds the most comfortable earbuds of all time, but getting a good in-ear seal is effortless. Just set them and forget them, zero hassle. Just to note, there's no ANC but I don't mind; I use these at home where it's already quiet. Further, there's a feature called Ambient Sound Control, kind of the opposite of ANC, that lets outside noises in (press button on left earbud). Obviously, the volume has to be pretty low for this feature to be useful. 3) I rarely ever use playback controls on a pair of earbuds, as I just use my phone for that stuff. However, the physical buttons on the WF-C510 work like they should and it's always nice to have actual buttons over touch controls, mainly because there's less chance for accidental inputs, a common occurrence on my other earbuds. 4) The battery life seems to jive with Sony's claims of 11 hours in the buds and another 11 in the case. I'm getting a 50% battery level after 5+ hours at a volume level above half with the "Sony Sound Connect" app installed on my phone. I'll admit, the 11 hour battery claim was the #1 factor for my purchase. 5) The app gives you a ton of stuff to play around with. There's a bunch of EQs, 360 audio (more app downloads and payment required, I think), information regarding battery levels, and more. 6) A couple of oddities: The charging case confuses me. Does the orange light turn off when charging is complete or does it stay lit? I've experienced both scenarios and both times the app said the earbuds and case were at 100%. The instruction manual was no help. Also, for some reason I had to re-pair the earbuds to my phone's Bluetooth after shutting it off, which was super annoying. I was testing to see if an older device (without the app) would pair, so to avoid interference I turned off my phone's Bluetooth. The older device paired with the earbuds just fine without the app, so it isn't required. I plan on deleting it; it's probably a major battery hog anyway. 7) Minor issues aside, the Sony WF-C510 delivers premium comfort and pleasing sound. and they're super affordable. Get yours today! lol Update 3/25 -- Checking in to mention that the orange charging light on the case does in fact shut off to indicate that charging is complete and I'm still very happy with my purchase.

Solid choice
My experience with the Sony (WF-C510) has been great. They are not too bulky to carry around. Their transparency mode is solid. They don’t have a noise canceling mode but just wearing the buds block out a good amount of noise. They are comfortable and fit right in and have never fell out on their own. I haven’t had any issues with the mic during phone calls; I am told I sound clear. I use them at work. They pair with my computer and my phone at the same time. That’s one of the main reasons I bought these. The audio quality is really good. Way better than my AirPod pro 1st gen. I like the EQ settings on the app. Battery life is never a worry for me. I can go a few days with a full charge. Only a few complaints. One is the app should have a setting where it lets you customize what the taps do. Second is when on call, it goes into transparency mode which I don’t like but not a deal breaker. Overall for the price I paid I would recommend these. I will update my review if I have any issues.

I Never Thought I'd Be This Person
I woke-up on a Friday and purchased these C510's (Sony uses terrible nomenclature) two minutes later. The discounted price seemed enticing to me. I never thought I would be a person that has seven sets of earbuds. But three years later, I've used nine or ten pairs (others broke or sent to RMA). Now, I'm somewhat consistently searching for my next daily pair(s). Considering my diverse set of earbuds, I like to think I have good reference points for users. I've used 3 Sony WF-xM4's, 3 Sennheiser Momentum 3's, Nothing Ear Wireless Earbuds, Earfun Air Pro 4, OnePlus Buds 3. Finally, I now have the Sony C510's. The silicone tips worked as some of the best I've ever used. However, I changes to my OEM foam tips (revised version) from my XM4's. Everything improved! The sound isolation on these C510's is so good that for a day or two, I thought they had active isolation - especially since using the foam tips. But. that's actually for the next version ( I think the 710's). I was able to do some comparison with every pair of my stock and except for my two-hundred dollars pair (or more when new), I prefer these for their all-around sound, wear and feature ability. The physical device is good to interface with and only ousted by Sennheiser and my XM4's. As for how they sound, I think the overall profile is definitely a more narrow sound stage of the XM4's. Voice and bass are most narrow, but can be somewhat compensated for in EQ. The EQ barley needs modification(s). I've attached my EQ setting, for example. The Clear Bass profile does a decent job of balancing the tone at lower frequencies. I had the 510's at full-volume and I had my standard assumptions confirmed. The distortion was appropriate, for the price. The quality of the sound is good. Not passing sixty-isn percent of volume will general have you safe from from the cost-cutting, dostortion-allowing components that give these earbuds a very fair price. I have worn these for ten hours per day, three days now - including in bed - and have zero soreness in my ear canals. I have fully drained the batteries and can confirm eleven hours use with a few percent to spare. I have one major gripe and if you have battery anxiety; you're not going to like this. The BMS seems to only update the capacity three or four times in the entire10+ hours during use. The app and my phone will show one-hundred percent for several hours and then drop to fifty percent capacity. There is literally three or four increments to the device updating remaining capacity. Getting three-ish hours on a twenty percent, "low battery" chime is certainly a confusing feeling. Here is an example of update capacity: 100% (four or five hours), fifty percent (three of four hours later), twenty percent (three or four hours later), twenty percent (to zero) for two hours. This is not exact, but a general replication of the insanity of the BMS (battery management system).

These are the BEST, really, no joke and comfortable!!
The box was ripped open right where the earbuds were placed in the package. I don’t know if it was someone being curious, or just a shipping machine rip. Either way, I took the earbuds out of package, charged them fully and put them on for a trail. I would put a “mind blown” emoji here. The sound right out of the box was good. Then I downloaded the “Sound Connect” app and I was lost for a good hour and a half, just having fun and listening to music. I was able to quickly use “short cut” way to find what kind of sound I like, as the app just walked me through. I now know, ( by this apps definition) that I like clear bass. There is an equalizer where anyone whom has the knowledge and the skill to set their music to sound just like they want to hear. I have an eclectic range of music. Billy Joel ( older version cd) that didn’t give me the strong clear bass I like, yet it was quite balanced. I listened to Tchaikovsky‘s Swan Lake and that just made me smile. Enter P!nk with “Truth About Love” cd and I could hear parts of the music that I have not heard before. Amazing!! And to end the night with a bang I switched to “Disturbed” Down with the Sickness and I was banging. The sound never got distorted. Everything was clear and I actually had to turn the sound down, as I like it loud!! Mind you, I am not a audiophile, but I do love music, so take my opinion as you choose. The buttons on the buds are easy to use. I used with Alexa, phone call, next song, previous song, and it was seamlessly easy. Functionality is A+. Instructions have a QR Code to take you to a users manual. The buds come with a one year warranty. Just a quick scan tells me I need to keep the box it came in and I am sure there is more that is needed for the warranty. Just read to be safe. The package comes with different size buds inside the package. Now, I can not say enough about how comfortable these buds feel. I have purchased sooooooo many types of earbuds and have NEVER felt buds this comfortable. Every pair of buds, I will not name them, but seriously a LOT, has been uncomfortable. These are just so comfortable and even though I have no noise cancellation, they are sealed so well in my ear that it doesn’t feel like I am missing anything. Long story short, get these!!!!! Sony has always come through and these are no different. Be well.

Great battery life and very reliable for daily use
I've been using these earbuds regularly since i got them, and so far they've been great. The battery life is one of the things i like the most. Compared to my previous earbuds that only lasted a couple of hours, these easily last several hours on a single charge, and they recharge very fast. They're small, confortable, and easy to carry around. Sound quality has bern solid for everyday, and i haven't had any connectivity issues. I also like the feature that helps you locate the earbuds if you misplace them, which has been surprisingly useful. Overall, they've been very reliable and consistente, and i'm really happy with them. No complaints so far.

Good product overall, but they fall out :(
I want so badly to love these! The color is so cute, they are comfortable, and the battery life is outstanding! But they do not stay in my ears, unfortunately - I was gardening yesterday and lost one, right after I had adjusted it to make sure it would stay in. I also find it annoying to eat with them in, the silicone really amplified the sound of my own chewing. And making phone calls on them sounds strange as well, I feel like I can’t hear myself so I’m not sure how loud I’m talking.

Wonky App, Great Buds!
Just got these, d/l'd the app, and opened the case. Arriving with a 100% charge in both ears, they instantly connected to the app, and thus began the scavenger hunt to figure out how to use these things. Ultimately, I discovered how to set the EQ to my liking, explored a few other options, and then tried to connect to the manual so I could connect to my PC. The link in the app is broken, but a quick goog took me to the Sony product page. Good luck finding the "connect" button -- it's flush with the case, but easy enough to hold for 5 seconds. You'll probably have to charge the case back up -- I got a note about a minute after connecting that the case was low on charge. Once paired with the PC, they worked great. The sound is rich, but a bit forceful at first. I found plenty of bass in my music. You'll get used to it and if you don't like it, set the EQ in the app. I don't intend to use these for 2-way comms, but I will eventually connect to my phone for music play. They're comfortable, a lot smaller than the WF-XB700s I'm replacing with these. They fit snugly and seem to be firmly wedged into my ear canals. If something comes up, I'll update this review.
