Useful history with a wealth of photographs
This a succinct, well structured, comprehensive history of the principal WW2 French infantry tank in German service. The modest cost of the kindle version make this a worthwhile purchase for the enthusiast. The book's greatest merit is the wealth of photographs (including many I have not seen elsewhere) covering all versions. The book describes all versions used by the Germans (battle tank, tank destroyer, command vehicle, artillery tractor, ammunition carrier etc). It has information on the deployment of the tank destroyer version [4.7cm Pak(t) auf Panzerkampfwagen 35 R(f)] which I have not read elsewhere (notably details of the abortive deployment on the eastern front). The brief commentary is insightful and useful. The book has a modest scope and objectives and meets these successfully. I would be happy to see it expanded with more material and commentary.
