First of all: it's a good jacket, especially for the price (these days). I like it, and I'm happy with the purchase (for now).That said, don't be fooled: it LOOKS like the leather is a lot thicker in the photo than it really is. The collar will NOT sit as pictured on its own -- close, but it's not quite that thick, and not quite that formed. Most of what you see in the picture is the jacket stretched over a frame, I suppose -- the large creases/ripples around the armpits and sides give a better sense of the actual material and how it flows.So, it's really not the thick biker's jacket kind of material you might expect. It's reasonable all the same, though -- again, for the price -- durable clothing, and certainly not the super-flimsy fashion-victim tearable "leather" you get on some modern junk. In short, proper, real leather, yet not quite the best you could hope for.Can't vouch for the stitching strength etc., as I've only just removed it from the packaging a few minutes ago. The stitching looks a little wide and weak to me, but it's PROBABLY fine. Time will tell. Should be good enough leather (read: REAL materials) that it can be repaired if it ever comes to that, at least.Looks-wise, it's not bad at all. What I thought from the photo were thick hide seems look more like thin whitish/creamish lines in reality, which, with the good cut, looks pretty good.The fit is exactly as described, but yeah, as others said, it JUST zips up for me (very slim guy, wearing a t-shirt and shirt), so if you want to wear it with anything thicker, you'll probably have to leave it unzipped. You SHOULD be OK with the chest/shoulder size, but I'm not sure. Not really the kind of stuff you'd wear with a jacket like this anyway, usually, and you probably DO want it to zip tightly, so it's flat-fronted, if zipping it at all.So, all things considered, a great buy.

I ordered it as my motorcycle jacket, some reviewers recommended go one size up! I ignore that advice and ordered my regular size which fits just perfectly. As many reviewers write before quality is superb (had some wrinkles on leather from the packing) which was easy to fix. Other from that this jacket is perfect! If you looking for this style of jacket order it and you won't be disappointed..

Really, Really pleased with this, great quality for the price. I'm a compact 5.6" 40 inch chest, I typically wear a medium and I was a little worried about the 39" chest size described. Very slightly snug, but I won't be wearing a jumper underneath as it's not really for wearing in winter and the high quality leather will soon loosen off. However, if you don't like a fitted look and/or you will be wearing a jumper underneath I would go for the size up, which is only going to be an inch bigger than your usual size any way. Absolute steal for under £100, I'm over the moon with it.

Very stylish strong mid - weight leather jacket, and you don't have to be a biker to appreciate it. Tough and well cut, the seams adding that certain look, and even all the zips match in size, so the central zip is not a chunky affair, but i trust will hold up well to usage as the rest of the jacket is so well thought out. There are plenty of inside pockets, and the colour is brown\black rather than black\black. As for guessing the right size I went for XL for 42 inch chest and the fit is comfortable and looks right.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this jacket. The leather is thick, high quality, soft and strong. The jacket is a very deep brown and very well made. It fits my 22 year old son perfectly and he hasn't taken it off since he received it...It looks fantastic. He isn't tall- about 5 foot 9 - and he has large shoulders but the jacket fits great. He loves it. Buy it - you won't regret it.

very good jacket nice soft leather, I'm 5'9" 41" chest I ordered large, good fit a little snug but that's more to do with middle age spread, as others have said if you want to wear more than a tee shirt underneath you might be wise to order next size up, plenty of pockets,good zips, nice leathery smell, overall well worth the wait and price.update I paid £99 including postage, noticed its gone up to £104 +£10 postage still a steal.

Wow. Really nice. I took a plunge on this as looked good in pictures and it is a very nice jacket. I am 46 inch chest and XXXL fitted perfectly. Mine is not textured like the photo so much but that is fine. I like the way the seams are left a tiny bit undyed giving a slight contrast effect but not a bold one. Leather is moderately thick and good quality. Not jet black but very, very dark brown which I think looks better and less artificial. Fit and finish overall is great for that price. Impressed.
