Good Battery Maintenance Charger
Very handy for maintaining a battery while in storage. It is also designed to restore a battery that has been just sitting too long, without being charged

worth trying.
looked at reviews of a pulse charger on YouTube, most said it is a hoax. I gave it to my dad, he is telling all his friends about how well it worked- ordered two more smaller units as gifts.

This was a lifesaver!
I bought this in case I ever had a dead battery because I have a tendency to leave the light on in my car lol Well, I didn't leave a light on but my battery died on me and because I had this handy charger I was able to make it to the auto store to get another one. I love it and I think you will too after you find yourself in need of a jumpstart. Trust me and just buy it.

THIS THING IS DANGEROUS. I recommend you not buy it.
I've been using this device to recharge several batteries which I use for running my cpap machine when the power goes out. I was initially unhappy with the minimal directions of this unit. See my original note complaining about lack of directions below this. But now I had an extremely dangerous occurrence overnight. It was on the "repair" setting, trying to repair a Sears Die Hard SEALED battery several years old. This morning I checked progress. DISASTER. The top of the battery had blown off, sending battery acid all over my garage. I've never seen anything like it. I've used this device on "Repair" mode for many hours. The batteries being repaired got warm over time, but not hot, which happened when I tried to recharge a discharged battery. See below. I'm just happy that no one was near the battery when this explosion took place. There is battery acid all around the battery which now has its top separated from the rest of the battery.. I have a big clean-up to do. I'll have to neutralize the acid spray with sodium bicarbonate. I hope one of the car parts dealers will take the destroyed battery off may hands once I clean everything up. In about 60 years of recharging lead acid batteries, I've never experienced anything like this.I thought I was buying a tool I could trust. But, the "repair" function had no directions, like how long to use the setting. A "24 hr" was randomly inserted without telling me of what to do for 24 hr and what to look fir if :repair" was done. I also made the mistake of overnight using the charge circuit after the repair circuit. The net morning the baiiery was super hot, maybe close to 120 degrees. I thought that this unit wound not over-charge any battery. I believed the ad. I've never ever in my 60 years of messing with car batteries had a battery get anywhere close to this hot. I'm now uncertain how to use this unit. I don't want to heat up another battery. (I need to have car batteries available to power my sleep apnea ventilator when the usual power is unavailable.)
