Florence de Dampierre 32 Load, Organic, All-Natural, Genuine Savon de Marseille, Denim & Darks Wash, 16 oz. - Lavender

The front label says "32 Load", for 16 oz. (473 ml). I thought, great, it's concentrated. I flipped it around to search for confirmation that I should be using 1/2 oz; however, the directions on the back label recommend using 1/4 cup for normal wash, which is 60 ml. 60 into 473ml is 7.88, which is how many regular washloads are in this bottle. Not 32 loads, folks; only 7.88 loads per bottle. At $14.99, that is $1.90 per washload. Pretty steep price, and a far cry from 32 washloads. I can't comment on effectiveness as it was returned immediately.

I've been using this dark wash for several months now, and the black tops and pants that used to fade so quickly have kept their color better than any other product I've ever used. Thank you, Florence de Dampierre. I also use this to wash brightly colored silk and cotton scarves, with terrific results. The loss of color is remarkably less. In addition, I've had no allergic reaction to this product, unlike most of the products I've used in the past--even ones that claim to be "hypoallergenic." What more can I say? I'm not planning to use anything else on darks or colors for the foreseeable future.

I absolutely love this product- my clothes have never smelled so amazing and been so clean!
