Works as described and needed. Seems to be very sturdy.

Horrible quality, this broke the first time we used it. Unfortunately we can not request a refund because our return period closed. This is not a spring loaded gear so you must manually flip it. But the handle and the gear actually busted upon first use, we ended up having to cut the strap to get our boat off.

We used attached and used this wench on our boat trailer one time, during which the handle on the crank snapped off, injuring my husbands hand and chest!!! We had to strap the boat down with different strap and very carefully drive home from the lake!!! I'm 2 days out of the return window or I would get my money back!!

I was figuring for the price I would not be 100% satisfied. Besides I got 2 of these for my jetski trailer. Seeing as I would be using these for jetskis I didn't need the best I could find. Wow was I disappointed beyond my wildest expectations for the price. I think they may last a season. You can't even free wheel them when you're trying to drag out the strap to hook to the boat. 110% junk. Once I save up some money for good ones these will be in the trash. Glad I have safety chains.
