Love this pack! Got it for my german shepherd for a winter hiking/camping trip, figured he could carry some of the weight. I measured his back in comparison to the sizing chart and got the 3XL. It was a good fit for the length of his back, and the straps could all be tightened down (he is a long and skinny boy). The straps could be improved if there were a bumgie section on the back, its pretty difficult to get a good tightening on the lower strap with it being very close to his gut & groin.The movable bags were nice, although I would not recommend packing too much in because the buttons that hold the back tended to pop when he would rub against a tree (again, packed too heavy). This also caused issues with balancing the bag. Bags on or off, the front and back grab-handles and leash loops are perfect for having him lead or at my side, and I get compliments on the street wherever we walk.

I bought this vest to use for my service dog. He is a 75lb German Shepherd and the size large fit him perfectly. I was worried that the strap in the back of the vest might squeeze him in some unsavory places since he's a boy, but he doesn't even notice when he's wearing it and has no problem curling up in tight spaces, tucking under chairs, and working in this vest all day long, so 5 stars for comfort!We've been using this vest every day for about a month now and it hasn't worn down at all, so the quality seems good.My only complaint is that I use the molle pouches for my medication, and while the pouches are very roomy and work great, having two on one side does make the vest slide to that side a lot even without anything in them, so I have to adjust it frequently throughout the day. Other than that though, this vest is wonderful and it was exactly what I was looking for!

The vest itself is not bad at all. When I first started training my pup to wear it, she would rub and roll trying to unclip it and get it off. She's since adjusted and actually loves going to work. She also initially had a chewing issue with stuff, and while not wearing it one day she chewed pretty hard on one of the "female" ends of the clip. There's some little tooth dents, but no cracks or bends in it or any issues with functionality so it gets great points for durability.My biggest issue are the molle pouches. If you have anything in them, those snaps are completely worthless. I have to carry a small portable blood pressure monitor, and despite it being lightweight, it only takes a two second "shake" from my service dog to send the pouches to the floor. If you plan on using the pouches, you're definitely going to need some other form of clip. I'm now using a rock climbing type carabiner at this point. It's a little floppy, but at least it holds better than these crappy snaps.All in all, not a bad product. But the snaps on the pouches need to be much tougher.

It was my favorite choice, having a hard time finding a sturdy well-made harness|Tactical Vest for a large dog these days - Couldnt find any others.The only disappointment is that its a moderate strength product, something okay as a fashion statement if thats all you want; But I wanted something very durable in all ways so he could carry his water bottle & bowl.The color & style r very important to me, so I would buy it again, but I wish I'd found a 5-Star product.

I bought a medium for my 54 pound pit mix. I have to be honest its pretty durable. I thought it wasn't going to be great at first but now I'm surprised! I will say you do have to do some balancing with weight in the pouches, but if you adjust the straps right it sliding isn't really an issue. My pitmix wears it no problem, He is very comfortable and can move naturally. I think this is a good buy for the price and I would recommend it.

The body of the pack is a good quality and fits well. It has held up to my active an curious dog. The removable bags while made of the same material have not held up, after the first use the one of straps that attach the bags to the body fell off and upon inspection not of them are sewed tightly or far enough down to hold them on for even light use. That is the only complaint i have but i can still use it as a harness without the bags. I just wish tge stitching on the straps was better
