***update after ~3 months of use***It's really hard to choose on amazon these days, everyone's opinions and expectations are so different. After 3 months of use, lint amount is about average now, color is still the same, absorbs and feels good. No lint on my skin. A few threads came out, that's about it. But considering how often we put them in the washer and dryer, it certainly wears the clothes off faster. For less than $10 per towel I can't really complain.***I was looking for soft cotton towels for a long time, and honestly thought it’s impossible to find them without spending a fortune. I even got more expensive Turkish towels from Costco (one of the first photos) and I didn’t like them, I didn’t like their color neither. Costco’s towels are a lot thicker and not very soft and absorbent. In my now experienced opinion, thicker towel doesn’t always mean soft and absorbing well. I had a couple of other cotton towels too, I added a photo of the white one to compare to.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of Ephesos. I’d say they are thinner than Costco’s but super soft, fluffy and absorbent. I loved their rich grey color too.They do shed so washing them separately before the first use is a must. I feel like they will shed for a couple of first washes, but they became a lot softer after the first wash. Color is the same. And I’m not using any softener at all and my washer and dryer are from those older models.So overall, for this price getting four large towels is a great deal. It’s enough for me for now, but I’ll definitely keep it as gift idea in my mind, maybe adding a customized embroidery.I’ll try to update my review in a couple of month, I’ll see how they are doing after many washes. So far I’m very happy with them.

These are the fanciest bath towels I have ever used. They are versatile, well stiched and durable while remaining soft. They fluffed up when I washed them and it is true that with each wash they become softer. Their coloring is perfect. These grey bath towels match our master bathrooms decor and sits perfect in it. Their size, absorbency, and thickness is just great. This is a worthwhile purchase.

They’re very soft, but kinda flat. I bought them in replacement for my favorite towels that I had to lend someone while on vacation (hoping to get them back!)I like that they’re a darker grey so it’ll be easy to keep them clean. They don’t shed & look like they’re well made.P.S. these towels are part of a “free towel for a review”, just a heads up for anyone interested

My 2 sets of personalized washcloths and hand towels for my grandsons arrive super fast. The towels were the perfect weight/thickness for 5 and 6 year olds. Their names were perfectly stitched and the colors vibrant. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for future gifts!

These towels are super soft and really absorbent. Don’t be scared of how they look when you get them out of the package. Go ahead and wash them once and they get nice and fluffy! They’re just thick enough but also not super heavy. I dried off with one of these towels this morning and hung it up. I then went to an appointment that took about an hour and a half and when I returned home it had completed dried already! These towels are amazing! I will probably be purchasing another set for my boyfriend because these are just too good to share and I don’t trust him with white towels. lol
