I had a different set of candles that used 2AAA batteries. I use rechargeable batteries and had to recharge them every 5 days or so These candles use 2AA batteries and I've had them on the timer every night for at least 5 weeks and they have yet to need recharging. Very pleased with the lovely flickering glow.

I loved how bright these are, the fact that they're on a timer is perfect for around my home. I also took these with us to the cabin and they provided the light necessary to see in the dark. These candle set the mood. I would buy these again if I wanted to have a candle light event.

I can't say enough good about these candles. They came 3 in a pack in graduating sizes. I used them indoors during a recent power outage. They lite up the room. Used one in each room. I bought 2 packs and so glad I did. Buy these...you'll be glad too.

These have a very natural look, and are great on battery life. Great simple controls, OFF - TIMER, perfect. I am not crazy about the screw on base, but they say they are water proof and I think it will hold up. I have noticed on one I can see the wires through the side, but I just turned it a little bit to hide them.

These are nice, perfect for a table in a high traffic area. I like them and can't find anything wrong with them.I'm glad we bought them.

Never disappointed in these.

I bought some cheap battery candles and they may have lasted a few nights but these have lasted weeks and weeks on the same batteries. Really love them and will buy again for other spaces!

There is no "Remote Control"Battery life is pretty good, and the timer works fine.The "look like a candle" part is quite substandard, however.Everything is wrong:the color is wrong - vaguely greenish and not at all flamelikethe brightness is silly - very, very dim - the dimmest LED candle I've yet encountered, presumably why it can boast of long battery lifethe flicker isn't great - very "digital looking" harsh quality to the flicker

Look good, flicker nicely and timer works well. Taller candles would look better but the size is as specified so cannot fault the item.

Great size and brighter than expected (can be dimmed). Gives off a nice yellow glow. Remote works well. Likely buying a couple more as presents.

These are quite attractive. I like the timer function -- you just turn the candle on and it automatically turns itself off 6 hours later. What is really neat is that it "remembers" what time you turned it on, and it will come on again at the same time the next day and repeat its 6 hour stint until you switch the batteries off.

I wanted them for my outdoor setting and they are very suitable
