High grade mobo with a long term proc.
The price was in my price range and there isn't many combo options offered that fit that space. I was initially disappointed by the external antenna for Wifi and found that it was also the antenna for bluetooth and it was vastly superior to anything I've ever had. The M2 drive connections were new to me, but I have an impression startup and gaming experience now. Fantastic stuff!

Faulty GPU X16 slot and only x16 pin slot
All installed on a static grounding table. Installed GPU will not allow system boot to even bios on a 1600w PSU. Not a quality board. CPU is good though.

Issue with board sata and windows 11 install drivers can not install at all
I purchased this combo in December along with a bunch of other components I started putting it together a few months ago and had nothing but problems with it trying to install windows 11 pro 64bit,, Bios see everthing fine but first would not start the install process ,,after creating a media boot usb drive iwas able to start windows boot process except it could not find a drive after several attempts at other ways of trying i sent it out to see if professionals could get it installed ,, they had for 2 weeks and could not resolve the issue seems like the Sata chip may be bad trying Asus for help now

Deal Hunter - Good board, flimsy device ports?
This motherboard is a fantastic choice packed with features that mid to advanced gamers will appreciate. With four NVME slots, there's no need for an NVME converter riser—talk about convenience! Just keep an eye out for that inconspicuous bag; it holds the tiny yet crucial piece that secures that sneaky NVME drive in place. I almost missed it and was ready to unleash my inner customer service warrior! The sound quality? Absolutely top-notch, boasting full 7.1 stereo sound support. Plus, the ASUS app lets you download software to tweak it with some equalizer magic. Those extra AiO ports for ARGB components are a nice touch, but there's a catch—no rear chassis fan port. So, if you want to add one, get ready to stretch a cable like it's a yoga class! Pairing the Asus Z790 gaming chipset with the RTX video card is a game changer for smooth graphics and real-time rendering. And let's not forget the Intel i9 12th generation CPU, which is definitely impressive. Overall, this board is solid as a rock. Now, onto the not-so-great stuff. First off, you'll need to update the drivers once it's installed, even if your Windows is all up-to-date. The new Asus software demands these drivers to work properly. The BAD: One of the SATA ports decided to play hide and seek and came loose without any warning. So, that port is out of commission. Amazon won’t replace the motherboard, which means I’d have to return it, get a refund (which could take 7-9 business days), and then buy a new one. I don’t know about you, but I’m not the kind of person who has spare motherboards lying around for testing. Plus, I can't afford to buy another one while waiting for my refund. Instead, Amazon suggests I contact the manufacturer. And guess what? They told me to reach out to Amazon, claiming it’s not a “technical” issue. So here I am, stuck with a motherboard and a broken port—what a delightful predicament!

Garbage mb
Do not purchase this motherboard. It is garbage and i have had issues with it from day one. Cannot install OS and it will not recognize the gpu. This has been the worst mb i have ever had to deal with. Asus even has posts about the know issue and it is still being sold.
