Description

FORENSTIX Presumptive Semen Tests are designed to conduct presumptive chemical fluid field tests utilizing simple methodology and minimum equipment. These one-time use tests feature a swab pad on the end of a plastic tube containing a glass crush vial with premixed chemical reagents. To use FORENSTIX Presumptive Tests, simply remove the cardboard protective cap and moisten the swab pad with the included distilled water or reagent. To collect the sample, you will rub the swab pad on the suspected stain. Once you have successfully collected the sample, break the vials in the plastic tube, shake to mix the liquids, and gently squeeze the tube to moisten the swab pad. Observe a color change to indicate a positive presumptive reaction for semen. Each box of FORENSTIX Presumptive Tests contains eight tests, a dropper bottle of distilled water or reagent, and instructions for use.
