The usefulness of this set was two-fold for our household... On the one hand we have a child that requires sensory toys as a regular part of his play; and on the other hand, my wife teaches a class that has a trivia event each week as a part of the learning curriculum. So this set was a win-win product for us all around.The buttons feel solid, but still quite comfortable to interact with (much like an "easy" button, if you remember those), and the sounds & lighting are very responsive when tapped. I appreciate the difference sounds effects as well, since many kits such as this only offer the same sound for each buzzer.It would been nice if batteries were included in the package, and a volume control could have been beneficial as well -- especially when our kids are playing with them -- but overall these sensory buttons met most of our expectations. We even found ways to incorporate them into existing board games around the house, so you can get pretty creative with the buttons if you want to.It's true that these might not be loud enough to use at an outdoor event amongst a crowd of people, but for smaller gatherings indoors (or a backyard) I found these buzzers worked rather well for the asking price.Recommended.

I really like these buzzers! They're light and compact and you can take them to a game night with family and friends easily!Each has a different colour and sound effect which makes it easier to tell who hit them first. They're relatively sturdily built and will withstand some abuse from over-excited players.They each take 2 AA batteries (not included) and my only quibble with these is the battery compartment in the back. It requires a screwdriver (which is annoying in itself - a good clip would have been so much better) and, beyond that, they're hard to open. The included screwdriver doesn't have a good handle for a decent grip and so I had to go find another screwdriver. Once you get the batteries installed it's not a problem but it was just annoying to set them up initially.Overall, despite the annoying battery compartment, these are fun for kids and adults alike! Recommended!

These game buzzers add a fun and humorous touch to game night. You do have to provide and install the batteries yourself, but there is an "off" switch on each button so it doesn't drain when the buttons aren't in use. Each lights up and has a distinct sound. The package is covered in weird typos and also took forever to get here, but besides that, I am pleased with the product. Definitely get these to make your next game night pop!

I bought this for the next family gathering, cuz we love our games! The buzzers are a good size and easy to "ding". The noise for each one different and different color lights also help you see who got to hit the buzzer first.The battery compartment opens with a screw driver (provided) and I found it rather difficult to get open. I suppose if you are using this with children, it prevents them from just sliding open the compartment and playing with the batteries. The noise is controlled with an on/off switch, and has no volume control. The noise is a medium loud volume.I wish it had volume settings, for different size/types of groups, but other than that, I think these will serve the purpose admirably.
