Sturdy product
Well made. You can cut and strip wires cleanly and quickly. Adjusting the stripper for the proper wire gauge takes a little experimentation, but is easy enough. I have used it already on 24, 16, and 14 AWG wire, and it makes a very clean strip in all cases. I am rewiring my home theater, and this tool is making the whole process go smoothly.

Very useful
I haven't ever used one of these before and I wish I had although I now know how handy these are for stripping or gapping wires after spending years doing it the harder ways. Sometimes I have to use it twice so it's a bit less functional than more expensive versions but hey, it still gets the job done.

very clever design. almost perfect but snags too often
very clever and works pretty much perfectly except for how it often gets stuck and you have to force it back by prying the handles outward. this was annoying enough to render it imperfect so 4 stars.

Best money I've spent on a stripper
Love it! I don't have a reference for a higher priced tool, so not sure how it stacks up, but this got the job done for me. Easily strips multi-conductor wires in one shot. It did work with Cat5/Cat6 jackets but you have to be careful to not scrape the conductors.

Good wire stripper
I used these wire stripper a few times and they work like they are supposed to. The only thing I found a little annoying is when I was stripping a ribbon cable the plastic would get stuck in the tool and I would have to knock it out of there.

Hard insulation is problematic
It is comfortable to use. It does not cut all wire as advertised, it just slides off the wire. I adjusted the tool for each gauge of wire that I was using but it continued to slide off of the wire. Wire with a hard covering fails the most and adjustment does nothing, softer insulation seems to work well.
