It worked for me, I was skeptical because of the bad reviews. I had to find the spot where the magnet inside was close enough to effect what I was working with. I can see how many people would assume it is in the center, it was not for me.

I am very frustrated at how hard it is to find good quality control and reliable items through Amazon. How hard is it to make sure it is functioning before sending it out? This didn't work right out of the box. Irritated I have to take the time to return such a simple item. No excuse for it not working.

What a piece of junk. The cord was wrapped tightly before the ends were soldered in place so unwinding it was a nightmare. The plug would not fit through the tightly wrapped cord. I plugged it in and the button was broken! I later checked the other posts and apparently some had the same problem. China manufacturing at its worst. Do Not buy this.

The switch that activates the unit had fallen apart inside the unit. I was in the process of returning it when I decided to have a look for myself. It was a fairly simple repair but I mean....damn, you shouldn't have to fix it to use it. It was a Chinese cheapo so it probably shouldn't have actually expected it to work right out of the box.

My vintage Rolex suddenly started running very fast. I bought this demagnetizer and fixed it myself. A repair shop would have charged me at least a hundred to do what took me minutes with this device.

The irony of buying something that doesn’t work to fix a product that doesn’t work.

Price seems to be fair. However, packaging was poor and there were no instructions of any kind. Not even a slip of paper saying product name or manufacturer.

Had one watch that was just not able to be regulated. I put it on demagnetizer and that got it right back where it should have been. I also demagetized a few screwdrivers and it did the job.
