It makes great kefir. It took 3 butches to activate the process. Great product, very tasty and healthy.

These grains took a couple weeks to arrive so I was worried they would take a while to reactivate. I followed the included instructions and put them in a cup of whole milk. The instructions said to leave them for 48 hours but after 36 hours I could see the milk was already thickened.I expected throwing away the first few batches but even the first batch tasted ok.This was my first kefir made from grains so I'm pleased with the quality of the grains I received.

It took me a while to figure out the right conditions to awaken the grains but after reaching out and getting support from the suppliers I finally found success and I know you will too!

The grains were super hungry when they finally arrived and bounced back nicely. After 3 rounds of 24hr batches (was getting curds and whey so fast) I had a good, edible batch.

My grains did not wake up. I gave them two weeks but they didn’t survive. It could have been my fault, but I’m not a newbie to kefir.

These grains came packed in a small jar, which was well-sealed in a plastic pouch (fortunately, since my jar leaked). There is a page of directions included, but you will likely want to get more guidance. I could not activate them immediately, but when I did (after they had been on the counter in their package for about a week), they were very active.I’m still figuring out how long to leave it to culture (which will vary with temperature). The grains themselves, however, are doing their job.

It took a couple of days for my grains to wake up but they are wide awake now and making wonderful kefir! I recommend this seller's milk kefir grains. 😊
