GHU battery
Good battery for the Lenovo X220 laptop. So far, it is holding the charges for more than two hours.

A risky battery that should be avoided
This does not actually work with the X230. Bios throws an error that the battery is not compatible.***Update***The seller sent a replacement in response to my review. Unfortunately, the replacement failed in few days. It does not yet give the BIOS stop error, but now does not charge and the thinkpad's battery light flashes orange. Before failure, it never performed a proper charging cycle, stopping anywhere from 20-15%, rather than the 5-0% of an OEM battery. The battery also went from 15% to hibernation in a few minutes, indicating poor communication or voltage regulation. These batteries are not identical replacements for true OEM 44 series Thinkpad batteries. I suspect the onboard computer is, at best, reverse engineered and does not meet specifications, failing to communicate with the computer correctly. At worst, it may be poor circuitry in the firmware build or poor quality cells, resulting in early failure. In either case, a battery that readily fails, can not regulate charging and discharging, or that could harm the laptop due to poor power regulation, is not a good purchase at any price. I have to recommend staying away from these and sticking to the more expensive genuine OEM options, which is unfortunate, as 44 series batteries are ridiculously expensive and a low cost replacement would be nice.

Battery Not OEB but shure looked like it----Lenovo X230
Almost the exact same look and with that I mean the rubber feet on the bottom is a little smaller,,,That is it.After charging for 10 hours to hep the BMS it says 4 to 5 hours of batter life. This is what the OEM did when new. Wish the company did a recycle program. gladly pay to send it to them....Thank you --

Update to original remarks
The battery I received never charged to more than 80% and depleted its charge must too fast. I was hoping for the 7-9 hours some folks reported to get but the best I got was about 4 hours. I was a lot better than the old original 6 cell battery but it was nowhere near what I paid for.UPDATE*- I received my refund as expected but I also received a replacement battery, UNSOLICITED, from the manufacturer. The new battery charged fully and has been in use for a full week as of this update. It is working as it should with about 6 hours average time per charge. If the manufacturer stands behind his product like this, I can recommend at least trying them.

7 hours after calibration
Update 5 September 20237 hours now. Battery was new, with only one cycle charge. Very good results, super solid.------------I was getting ~2 hours with an old battery. This one is giving me ~6 hours after the first charge. Much better but not as good as my original battery when new.I will perform a battery calibration and report back.X220, SSD, 60% brightness , wifi on, bluetooth off, Linux Mint.

Excellent Replacement Battery
I've had this battery for over a week now and it consistently lasts about 12 hours on a full charge. The laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad x220 that only gets light use - web browsing, word processing, some light games. Pretty solid battery life for a replacement. Note that this is the extra capacity battery, so it extends a bit from the back of the laptop and makes it a bit heavier.
