Burgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes, Pack of 4

I've purchased these potatoes a number of times....and ALWAYS found them wholly satisfactory, and I'm sorry if some of the responders have had an unsatisfactory experience.....not what one would expect from a humble potato.I did a bit of 'scientific evaluation' and got the following results.......Burgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes 4 Pack has various total weights, but NO mention of calorific value is listed on the packing sticker, which I would have expected.Label on pack states "Minimum Tuber weight 4 x 175g" per potato, or 700g gross.The blurb on the Amazon page states "Average weight 700g", costing £1.00p per pack.However, in practice, I have found the gross weight of the 4 Baking Potatoes to exceed 700 grams by quite a margin, and the Potato growers are mainly from the UK, but one is from Israel.Details as follows:Burgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes 4 Pack - grown UK, variety "ESTIMA" gross weight 1114gBurgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes 4 Pack - grown UK, variety "MARFONA" gross weight 1048gBurgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes 4 Pack - grown UK, variety "NECTAR" gross weight 1042gBurgess Harvest Baking Jacket Potatoes 4 Pack - grown Israel, variety "ORCHESTRA" gross weight 989gAveraging the 16 potatoes mentioned from a total of 4192 grams (4.19 kilo) divided by 16 averages 269g per potato.I hope that is of use to all of you..............and they are delicious, baked, with unsalted butter melted over the hot potato, a topping of your own choice, and then Hellmann's Mayonnaise (my personal choice).Cheers, from Diskaverse....09-Sep-2019

Pleased with these though they were not very large if want to make a baked potatoes as meal and not as a side veg. Would recommend.

Great value for money. Lovely buttery taste without the butter. Cooks quickly & never hard..totally delicious

These potatoes came as jackets, found them way to small and would have to use 2 at a time just for 1 person. No ideal at all

Good selection of potatoes, 4 decent sizes inside for 2 people if baking, frying into chips or having as jacket potato🥔. I like the fact they are clean and have an adequate shelf life. (The Amazon listings provide various cooking ideas, jacket potato with tuna, sweet corn🌽 and a sprinkle of peppercorn or black pepper is always a delish😋 delight).The potatoes are not pricey, excellent delivery and packaging. I recommend.
