Bouchard Belgian Chocolatier Milk Chocolate Coins

Package arrived with the safety seal already opened and then re-taped. The tin was dented and the chocolates were warped, melted, foil open with exposed and moldy chocolate. The lot and expiration date sticker looked counterfeit. It had the same lot number as a tin I had received last year, however, the expiration date was missing the month (i.e. "31/2019" as opposed to "1/31/2019"). The foil on the chocolates were not very well wrapped, not shiny like the ones I already had, and the chocolates even felt lighter. A quick taste test (although this could have been a very bad idea) revealed gritty, cheap sweet-tasting chocolate, unlike the creamy belgium chocolate coins I had previously enjoyed. They seem very much potentially counterfeit to me!
