It does not catch on fire, as it is made from fiberglass. The additional layer of fire retardant Silicone will give the fabric a nice touch and locks the woven fibers in. Furthermore, it reduces skidding. You can walk over it like over a carpet. If it gets dirty, you can wash it with Soap & Water. Not at all what I expected.
Just received this piece of fabric. Not all what I expected . Just a piece of thin fabric without a edge hem. Edges wee reveling with threads hanging loose. Should have read the review BEFORE ordering.One review said he tried to return after getting a damaged fabric and the manufactory refused.I will probably not try to return this piece of fabric. Not worth. the battle. About all we can do is spread the word.

I liked that the 2 pcs.that came completely covered the floor of my 7x7 storage shed,mats were placed under a 10,000 watt generator to protect shed floor from melting when in use.
