They help me, but my use-case is odd
I've spent decades with sinus issues, which, as it turns out, ended up being severe dust mite dander issues. Then, I started using a CPAP, when it turned out I also had sleep apnea. The issue comes up when the two overlap; if you've never used a CPAP (at least the kind I use with the nasal pillows), trying to use one with a clogged nose and sinuses is NOT a lot of fun. (I end up having to put it on and breathe consciously (while reading a book or something) for around 1/2 an hour before the constant air clears my head enough to try to sleep.)These, while they aren't exactly the most comfortable things in the world (and I have a big nose) do help -- the physically spread the bottom of your nostrils a bit, and they have little beads of a camphor, eucalyptus & menthol type of mixture on them. I, personally, can't imagine using them to run (they have my sinuses feeling frozen and dried), but they work fairly well as a 'stick them in for 5 or 10 minutes, then put on my CPAP' kind of tool.I don't try to sleep in the; the kind of nasal pillows can't make a seal with them in place. But they do work well for clearing my head, when used BEFORE I try to go to sleep. They are a bit pricey, but using them to such a limited degree (and sticking them back in their case when I'm done with them), they've lasted pretty well -- it's been several weeks, and the first of the two pack is still going strong.

These do work, but at a cost
Honestly these little devices do work. It was easy to insert one into my nostrils. While these do not hurt, they don't feel great either. You can definitely tell that you have something in there, but again it's not painful. The prongs are so that your nostrils stay open, but I don't really tell much of a different in my nostril size when I have these on vs when I don't have these on. The scent when you first open the package is very strong, enough that it bleeds thru the packaging and plastic wrap. The scent is an exact dupe of Vick's Vapor Rub. I'd be surprised if this wasn't exactly what they were using. So it may be a little strong when you first use it, but it tapers off. This says you can wear this up to 20 days, but honestly, I'm not sure the vapor smell would last that long. After a few uses its already tapering off, especially if you wash it after each use as the instructions say to do to maintain these hygienic between uses. Also, the instructions do not say how long you should use these each time.....is it 10 minutes? 30 minutes? Longer, shorter? It doesn't say. Would be nice to know how long to use so that you aren't overusing it.These are not bad at all, and they do what they advertise to do. I just don't think these would be very economical because they are quite pricey. If you don't care about holding your nostrils slightly open, then all the benefits you are getting is the chill minty vapor scent. At that point honestly, you'd be better off just applying Vick's somewhere and getting the vapor scent that way, it would be cheaper.

Works well, makes a good decongestant
I get congested easily and find it hard to breathe: this nasal dilator works very well to clear up the nasal passages and the menthol scent is great to help with decongestion too. It's pretty effective for short-term use but I found it can start to burn the inside of the nostrils a little after more than a couple of hours, so I wouldn't keep it in overnight.

Opens my nose but any bump to the nose causes it to dislodge
I run a lot, so I decided to take this on an 11 mile run today. Pictures show that it DOES definitely open my nostrils. I followed the instructions about putting cold water in them to help with insertion. I did not really have insertion problems, but I did have to fiddle with it to get it in my nose properly. The menthol smell is just like Vicks, and personally I didn't notice it nearly as much after about 5-6 miles, probably because I got used to the smell or something. I noticed zero performance improvement in my running ability or any improvement in focus, though the package seems to insinuate that you are going to have better focus if you use this product. The reason I can only give 3 stars is that for me, any bump to my nose or scratching my nose or wiping sweat from my nose caused this to start to dislodge. After a final bump to my nose by my drinking water from my water bottle, around mile 8, this thing really dislodged. Trying to push it back in while running was worthless, so I had to stop and remove it. Thankfully I brought the case, so I put it back in the case and finished the run.

They work but they're expensive & a bit uncomfortable
These nose expanders from ImpactRx definitely work, but they are a bit expensive for what they are, a cheap plastic clip with some scented beads attached to them. Right out of the package, these clips smell very strongly of menthol/eucalyptus. They do seem to lose quite a bit of strength/smell after about 5-10 hours of use. The little case that's included is a nice touch, but I'm not sure whether it will be effective at preserving the scent for the claimed 20 days of use. As far as comfort and use are concerned, I had mixed results. Putting the little clips inside your nose is a bit of a chore and getting them adjusted so they're comfortable is an even lengthier operation. When I did eventually get it seated correctly, it left my septum feeling very pinched and uncomfortable. I was only able to use these two nights in a row before I had to ditch them completely. Unfortunately, the little clip left my septum feeling very sore and left a blister inside my right nostril that is only just now starting to go away. I think these might be good for some nose shapes and short uses, but they did not turn out to work for me.
