It is a great product! It is easy to set up, safe and so fantastic chopping. I work and it helps me get diner ready with less effort.

The blades are very sharp, but safety has clearly been a priority in its design. You can use it without worrying about getting your fingers close to the blades, making it extremely hard to have an accident. It’s reassuring to have such a secure tool in the kitchen.Ease of Use:Putting it together is a cinch, and it operates smoothly. With 30+ presets and a thickness adjuster, you can achieve the perfect cut for any recipe.Overall Satisfaction:If you’re looking for a reliable and safe mandoline, this one is a fantastic choice. This mandolin works great. You do not have to change blades, just turn the dial. It’s easy to wash and folds down to store in a drawer.

I like this well enough and I think it's a fantastic tool. It slices very nicely but I hate how I have to shift the nobs and squint and keep checking to see if I'm on the right setting or not. I would have preferred an easier way of having this done. I also don't love how I have to set this up each time, so it's not a tool I can just whip out and use, but I have to be mindful of and make space for.It does a really good job though! It does an especially good job for slicing and matchsticks, though I don't love how dicing requires you do slice first then throw back in to dice, and for some things, it dices and cuts easier/better than others. I love that this is top rack dishwasher safe, but I don't love dislodging whatever you've been cutting before.Overall, a good tool, but because it's not AS convenient as I would like, it's sadly not one I'd reach for as much as I should.

The blades are sharp, which is good. It’s challenging to use its different settings, difficult and annoying to clean after use, and it consists of several parts that create clutter in my cabinet. I won’t be using it much, if at all.

This thing makes light work of cutting French fries or slicing anything for that matter. Everyone that cooks NEEDS one of these!

There is so much to love about this slicer.I never have to touch a blade. My fingers are scarred up one side and down the other from the times I've cut myself trying to change blades or swipe across with the "safety" handle on other machines. I've tried choppers and mandelines, too. Even my bully food processor requires manipulating a blade and that can be dangerous. On this one, I can barely see the blades let alone get my fingers near them.The machine has good grips on the legs. Didn't realize how big a factor a good grip is. On others, I'd use a wet towel underneath. This one did not budge during use.The spring action for the push handle is sturdy and quick. With little effort, I pumped the handle as I pressed the push tube and in less than a minute, I had sliced two onions. The slices were sharp and the veggies looked good. The guidance tool kept things in place as they were fed into the slicer.Clean up was a breeze. There is a small brush included to clear the stuff out between things and it all goes in the top tray of the dishwasher.Setting are all a turn of a dial and easy to manipulate. I could see the blades move and didn't have to get near them with my fingers.The things that could use improvement:Yes, the main slicer does fold down compactly; however, the other pieces do not and will not easily fit in a drawer. If the bowl was just a quarter of an inch longer, everything would fit neatly inside and be easier to store. I don't need to have multiple storage places for one system.The catch bowl needs to be larger in general. I could only chop half a large onion at a time before things started to tumble out of the bowl.It slows down the prep process and makes a bigger mess to clean up.For me, the value in not having injuries from sharp objects is so worth it. I still need a knife to prep items to fit in the slicer but that is very minimal. The time saved in the quick use and in the clean up is invaluable, especially for big meals, so a great value for me.Good product, good performance, and a new favorite until the little tweaks can be solved.

I have never seen a mandolin in this style before, Effectively there is a chute that you insert whatever you're cutting into, and then a handle you press down to move the blade to cut it. This does a few things, some good, some less son.1. This feels much safer to use. Because I can't hold the vegetable close to the blade, it makes me much more confident in my cuts. This allows me to go faster and more likely to use this. I understand that plenty of people use mandolines without cutting themselves, but I've never felt comfortable with them.2. It makes it much harder to clean. Since there is extra moving parts, you really have to get in there to clean this. It does come with a pick, but really that doesn't make it much easier.Overall, this feels like a safer mandoline and makes me more confident to use it. It will allow me to use one confidently. Would Recommend if you're not super comfortable with a regular mandoline.
