 So pleased with this as I was a bit sceptical. It works when the sun is on it and slows down the more shady it gets. I’m using mine in a bird bath as a small Water feature so I didn’t want it to spout too high as I’d lose the water as it splashed. To get a small, rolling spout of water I’m just using the shortest ‘adapter’ which gives me a small spout of water and enough of a splashing sound.If you use it in a bigger bowl, pot, pond etc. I’d recommend using one of the taller fountain adapters, using this, the jets are around 30cm high

I bought this floating water feature for the garden because I love the sound of of water in the garden.I already have a different shaped one and loved it so I thought I’d get another but a different shape this time.I tested it out in a bucket to make sure it works, before I make a new water feature & it works really well.It comes with very clear instructions and started as soon as I took it from from the box & put it into the bucket.It has 4 different nozzles to give different flows of water & it’s lovely.You can have it floating around whatever water feature you make or you could keep it in place by hemming it in on your design & it would still work.It needs full sunshine for the best water flow but will trickle in a little bit of shade.Overall I’m very impressed with it specially as it’s reasonably priced.

Bought this for a wildlife pond I’ve just dug as I didn’t want the hassle or expense of a mains operated fountain. Solar products are always hit and miss and this is somewhere in between. Even win these cloudless blue skies we are experiencing right now it’s not a constant flow or water or a constant height either. Works well enough I suppose but I wouldn’t say value for money due to the sporadic nature of the flow of water given my garden is a permanent sun trap. *edit* by not using the tube and connecting the head directly to the pump the shadow cast by the fountain is gone and flow is lovely. Please take note of struggling :)

Arrived quickly, easy to assemble. Love it! Looks great in my mini trendy pond. Even spurts when the weather is a bit overcast which I wasn’t expecting, though bigger and better when the sun is shining. Very peaceful just watching it!

Very Pleased with this. It will only work when the sun is shining and the water spray gets over one foot high... which works great will the different fountain heads provided. There are suckers on the bottom of the motor which enables it to adhere to the middle of the container.I am using it with the RSPB Bronze Bird Bath which has a lovely wide bowl - we had a few birds come and land for a drink, but none have got in it yet. It has especially attracted the wood pigeons and blackbirds.Yesterday in the bright sunshine it was going about 18-20 inches high... which was excellent, until we got a breeze and the water then blew away from the container, so I had to bring it in - or refill it about every 5 minutes!Today there was no breeze and it was going for a few hours without me having to refill it - which is brilliant considering it runs solely on solar power - no batteries or electric connections needed. So very cheap to run and there were compliments all round from my friends & neighbours!

Put this into a bird bath. It worked straight away and looks lovely. A perfect size too. My daughter was so impressed with it she's going to buy one for her pond!

Very good little Fountain for my bird bath the only thing is the water shoot so high I have to keep filling the bird bath up it’s a pity there isn’t a shorter stem to put the head on
