Budget Pilot Super Sports??
I really wanted to love these tires but their performance was a let down compared to the Michelin PSS. I know that the price tag cannot compare however going from PSS to these definitely hampered my experience. On spirited driving you don't see much of a difference between the two. However, step into an auto X event; you will see where these fall short. They tend to squeal early and then when they do give out, its a very quick transition from moderate/firm grip to nothing. The Michelin PSS have a good amount of squeal and progressively lose grip as you push them. I think for the price these are decent but they don't work very well outside of a daily driver tire.I'm not happy, not angry at them. I give the Hankooks a 3/5 for moderate performance on a budget but lacking in tire communication for a summer tire.

1 1/2 year old tires delivered as new, I'm not as happy as I expected I'd be.
These are great tires but the tires delivered are a 1 1/2 years old by the date code on the tires. I paid a premium price for these tires and expected them to be no more than 6 months old. I called a major on-line tire seller who told me this same tire in the same size were 5 months old. I know most people don't know about tire life and that even sitting on a shelf time is degrading tire life. My car stays in storage 7 months of the year and used for pleasure driving when its on the road so time more then miles is a concern to me. I read that tires should be replaced after 6 years, giving the tires I just bought only 4 1/2 years. I'm not one to do burn-outs but maybe I should start now rather than disposing tires with lots of good tread remaining.

more comfortable than sports
Excellent grip, but the side is soft. For heavy vehicles, handling will get worse. On a wet road to 80 rides well. In deep puddles, no more than 70, better even 65 is better. Tires are more comfortable than sports. Not very suitable for me. BMW 540.-------------------------------Having traveled half a year on these tires changed my mind a little for the better. They are very balanced: neither hard nor soft, and a very good choice overall. One feature, I had a car scouring the road for 3 weeks, but then this effect passed.
