I've had this collar for my pit mix for 3 years now and it's still in amazing shape. The velcro and buckle still in great shape. I love the handle it has been a good tool with training and just being able to quickly grab him. I've liked how you can adjust the fitting of the collar easily as well. I work with dogs every day and I wish most owners had a collar like this where it's easy to put on and you can grab the dog without struggling to grab it's collar.

Updated review 4-stars: After having these a few months they have not failed or popped open again. Possibly a fluke or user error? Only issue is the stitching is fraying but on a low-cost collar it's very minimal.Original 2-star: Purchased three of these for my dogs, collars have been on less than 12 hours and one of the “cobra” buckles popped free from the dog’s playing rough.

Great product very sturdy, well-made and comfortable on my dogs neck

Was just looking at my pups collar medium tactical collar (40 lb fit husky girl) thinking maybe I’ll get her a new one to spruce up her neck wear. It is still in perfect shape. No loose threads, handle used frequently as needed (mostly for quick transport to car as she doesn’t need much handling). This collar is nearly 3 years old…perfect. The black paint on the metal buckle has worn a little but that can’t be helped, she a husky and will roll around on concrete, in dirt, snow, water, mud, the inside of a volcano, etc. rubbing her neck just to see what it’s like on every surface imaginable. Vet loves the collar, puppy daycare loves the collar for ease of put-on and take-off with Velcro and metal clasp being very simple and super secure, but mostly we love the collar. It’s not heavy but is wide (in a good way), the handle makes up feel safe, I’m confident if I had to I could lift her with it in an emergency, and there’s the soft side of velcro all around (though we never bought any patches for it. It just deserved 5 stars is all, so here they are. Great for runs, hikes, home, and overall ADHD husky ownership.

This collar works great. I am using is on my Belgian Malinois. I ordered it in black. This has two ways of keeping this collar on secure. The securing mechanism is the same used in tactical belts, velcro also secures the collar in place. To secure even the velcro in place is another piece of velcro place at the end to form a "T". It secures the longer pice velcro. I think it also works to precisely hold the circumference of the collar. The sturdiness of this collar is for dogs that need a non-break-away collar. This collar will also grow with your dog. I got this collar when my mali was 3 months. She is now 8 months and she doesn't like it when it is taken off of her. The handle that is built-in to the collar is very useful. It serves better control when you need it. In training, it works also to guide your dog. The collar is about two inches thick. This was a well thought-out collar. I can only think this is perfect for any dog, but works really good on overly active pups or equivalent. You will not go wrong with this collar.

It was bigger they what it say and my dog it's big yet still didn't fit properly but product looks nice

I have a 75+ lb German Shepherd and the medium fits her perfectly! I was looking for something that not only complement her but would be durable and this collar fit that description perfectly. I was able to put two patches on her collar which ended up being very useful. The only thing is that when you put on your dogs id tag, it does scrape off the black coating if you’re not careful.
