Bike Pedals with Clips and Straps for Outdoor Cycling and Indoor Stationary Bike 9/16-Inch Spindle Resin/Alloy Bicycle Pedals

No surprises. Easy to install. Functioned as one would expect.

I'm an avid Zwift rider. I had a right knee replacement in May and cannot clip into my Look pedals for a while, and in 2 months I will have the left knee done. I have flat pedals lying around that came on bikes that I threw in a box. I put them on and my feet kept slipping off the pedals. I knew I had toe clips somewhere but I said screw it, let me just get the whole set up. I can't really use the toe clips yet but I wanted to have them available. I did my first ride on them last night. I was totally shocked that my foot did not slip at all. Neither foot. I wasn't even trying and my time significantly improved. These pedals are fantastic. I intend to get a pair for my Specialized Sirrus hybrid as well. I did try to slip in and out of the toe clips and it was relatively easy, lots of room. I highly recommend.

The plus: the metal pedal part has small cleat-like protuberances that grip my tennis shoes and prevent slipping. (I ride to the courts as a warm-up so tennis shoes are what I'm wearing.) The toe trap plastic part is sturdy enough to suit me and the tip is not narrow like many similar products. This it isn't hard to have the toe of my shoe nestle in like I want it to. The straps adjust easily. Good price for this product. I've used this type of product before and I expect to get considable use out of it (and I ride my bike 5-10 miles daily) before the straps get worn out.The minus: I'd give this 5 stars except the reflectors aren't mounted with removable screws. If the reflector gets broken it's a little inconvenient to replace.Be advised the left pedal is reverse-threaded, which is what is required

The toe does not go deep enough. When I stand up on the peddles, the balls of my feet are not far enough over the center of the peddle axel. And I wear a size 8.5 mens.

Looked around for some bike pedal clips that were well made and would hold up over time. Found these pedals with toe clips-cages and straps that are well made and easy to install. They are a great price and should last some years, depending on my biking activity and weather. They're price right so replacement over time will not be an issue. Installation was as easy as removing old pedals and wrenching in the new ones.

Just replaced pedals on an exercise bike (one had cracked - they were cheap-ish hard plastic). These new pedals were very easy to install and feel sturdy after one 45 minute ride. I'll update my review after more use but initially I think these will work fine.
