This Joiscope folding step stool is better than I expected. I needed something taller than the ones I already have. And based on the pictures I feared it would be a bit wobbly / unstable. But reality is exactly the opposite. It is super sturdy. It has three steps, the top one being about 24 inches above the ground (4"" taller than my old worn out folding stool). It takes a couple of times unfolding it to get the process down -- initially it seemed to fold out in a backward manner, but that was just operator error. Once opened and you climb on it, it is rock solid sturdy / stable. And then when you're done it folds up to less than a couple of inches thickness -- perfect for stashing behind a door.The one thing I miss from my old stool is sit has no hand-hold extending above the steps (and which also serves to provide your knees a forward movement limit). That may just be a personal preference or an attribute I've grown accustomed to over the years. Certainly so far I've had no issues. It is perhaps a little bit pricey, but for that money you get a rock solid, stable stool. And I certainly like the extra few inches it gives me for reaching the higher shelves in my closet.

Seems like a weird title for a step stool but I'm only 5 ft tall and have a massive issue with trying to do anything at all up high. Small step stools never make me tall enough and I hate having to literally keep a ladder inside the house, so I snagged this in hopes that it would be lightweight enough to move around but easy to put away. And still make me tall enough. And it hit every single requirement necessary for me to give it 5 out of 5!

This is a good size for basic household needs (reaching the top shelves, changing light bulbs, etc.).My only concern is that if I step on the center of the step it feels like there is some flex to it (and I am nowhere near the rated weight capacity), which makes me wonder how long it will hold up - it seems like a potential weak point. But otherwise, it is very sturdy and feels quite solid (if you keep your feet towards the edges of the steps they are solid as well).These do fold flat so are very easy to store.

I’m using it currently as a step stool for bunk beds. It’s sturdy and safe for my kiddos. Very easy to fold, stable and secure!

This is a very solid, well-built ladder. Small enough for many jobs, but heavy and sturdy enough to feel totally safe. Comes fully assembled and folds for storage. Stairs are metal but have ridges for added security. A nice addition to any household.
