Replacement for Magsafe 2 cable from Power Supply.
Decided to repair my old Apple power supply with this cable as the old one deteriorated and the sheath started to come apart at the magsafe connector and started exhibiting some bad kinks in the cables due to wrapping it around the power supply clips provided for this purpose. Followed plenty of You Tube videos to show how to dismantle the supply to get access to the cable soldered connections. I recommend applying heat with the soldering iron and actually pushing the wire further into the solder joint first then cutting the end of the wires to nip off the last 1mm of the wire. This allows you to apply heat again to melt the solder and withdraw the cable wires more easily. Works a treat now as a backup supply when needed.

Works perfectly
Easy to solder in place as the leads come cut and shaped to fit well. If you have the basic soldering skills to remove the old wire and put this one in, I definitely recommend giving it a go before buying a full replacement.Personally I'd rather have a repaired original unit than a copy.
