I tried different chemicals (clarifier) to get my pool water clear and it was still cloudy, to where I couldn't see the bottom of 36" deep, 14 ft, above ground pool. I put this little blue shell thing in my filter and woke up in the morning to a clear pool! It really does work. It dissolves slowly in to this stringy, snot like substance lol so cleaning out my filter is fun. I have had it in there for about 5 days and the pool has stayed clear so far. It is almost completely dissolved. If you're on the fence about buying it, just try it.

So I normally do not leave reviews but this product has to be recognized as a must for any pool. We have a 24 foot round and we have struggled with cloudy water for the past 2 years. We have spent a lot of money on chemicals and it never seemed to get the job done. Received this in the mail Weds evening and I put it in the pool first thing Thursday morning by noon time I could tell it was working. Our water was still cloudy but you could see the bottom a little better. It is now Friday morning and I can not believe how clear our pool is. I am buying this once a month from now on. We are super happy with this product. It beats any clarifier you will buy from any pool store.. I know I've tried a bunch! I attached a before and after photo with this review. I was sceptical of buying cuz it seemed to good to be true but I'm glad I bought it for sure!

This product works quickly to clear your pool water. We had used two bottles of clarifier over the course of two weeks to no avail. This had it clear within a day and a half. The only downside is that it only lasted a week; however, the pool has remained clear since then, so it was worth it.

This thing clogged my cartridge filter so bad it was almost unusable. I had to deep clean it with vinegar to get it working again. Seemed like a great concept but just didn't work for my system.

The media could not be loaded. I’m sold! It made my pool from not being able to see the bottom to crystal clear overnight. Not sure how long it will last but will definitely buy again!

Product did not clear the water one bit. Also the label says it will last up to 30 days and this was in the pump basket for 6 days and was completely gone. I would not buy this product again and would not recommend this product

We have a concrete/plaster pool with a salt water system. For the first time in 7 years, we had very cloudy pool water. We could barely see the bottom entry step. I tried shocking the water...still cloudy. I tried water clarifier from a bottle...still cloudy. I took a bottle of pool water to the nearest pool supply store to be analyzed...they told me I had a high level of dissolved metals in the water. I tried something to reduce the dissolved metals...still cloudy. As a final act of desperation, I purchased the magic blue blob on Friday. It arrived Sunday evening and I put it in the basket per the instructions. It's Wednesday morning, and the water is crystal clear and sparkling. Amazing!!!
