Large French Press!
This french press replaced my previous one, which was much smaller. I was very thrilled to see that this french press can make a good amount of coffee. You can brew a few cups from it, and they always turn out delicious. The thing I love about french presses is that the coffee can get nice and strong, depending on how long you let it steep, and still come out free of that classic bitterness that normal coffee machines cause. The coffee just tastes better, not to mention how much easier it is to actually make the coffee. I have an electric kettle, so I just grind my beans up into a semi-coarse grind, let my electric kettle boil some water for a minute, and then I steep the coffee in the french press for about 5 minutes. Once it's done, you have perfect coffee in less than ten minutes. Some of the features I really love about this french press are: its thick protective sleeve (it's attached to the glass, and helps keep the heat in and helps keep the heat from transferring to your fingers), the large mouth of the glass, the filter (works very, very well), and how easy the glass is to clean. From what I've noticed, it also does not keep any smells lingering, so you can get a nice deep clean of it, and not have any of the previous brew's smell still stuck in the glass.Overall, it's a fantastic french press!

Great Unit
I have used a French Press for years to brew my coffee. It produces a much better flavored coffee. So, I was very happy to find this large size. It can be used to brew different amounts so you can make just what you need, for one or several persons. I have found that the coffee stays hot long enough to enjoy but will cool if left to sit too long. The glass carafe is heavy enough to be sturdy, and the entire unit is easy to clean.

Pretty Standard
What can I say? It's a standard french press at a good price. It makes very good coffee, but like all glass models the coffee cools off quickly. It's easy to clean and store and I would get another one if the need arrises.

Makes a great cup of coffee
French Press coffee seems to be all the rage these days and as a life-long coffee drinker I've wondered what all the fuss was about, so I decided to give this French Press a try.Clearly, I'm a novice but here are my two cents for what they're worth:- good quality- instructions are easy to follow- coffee tastes great- it takes longer to brew than a regular pot of coffeeMy conclusion:There isn't a thing wrong with this French Press, but I can't say I've been won over by this method of brewing coffee yet -- I'm simply not that patient, lol. I may do a little research and try again to see if I can make it worth the wait, but we'll see.
