Arrived on time and as described caught my first fish with it at the weekend. For the money can not be faulted.

Good price, but not so brilliant
I’m not a big fan of these reels. Whoever said ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ pretty much summed it up. When spooling these up with fresh line, line lay is unbelievably uneven; I ended up with a full spool at each end with an under filled centre. Casting was definitely compromised and I experienced no end of tangles both on casting and when hooking fish whilst using the freespool. I ended up landing the last small carp using my hands to retrieve the line as the tangle was that bad. I’ve consigned them both to the bin and bought myself a pair of Shimanos. What a difference.
