Picture quality is great, but did not pass sound to two differently formatted devices
This little unit worked great to split the output from our DVR to two separate televisions. The picture quality was very clear. Unfortunately, it could only pass sound to one of the TVs. I think this might have been because they were different formats - one TV was 720p and the other was 1080i. So I don't really fault the manufacturer, but I did return the item and bought this one, which was able to send sound to both of the differently formatted TVs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HXFARSStill, I thought the product in general worked great, and the changing colored LED indicator lights were very useful in determining proper connection. If you have two of the same TVs, or you don't require sound, this little splitter is the one for you.

Received a version v1.3 instead of the advertised v1.4
Returning as what I received is version 1.3 which does not support 4K.Update - seller insisted on making it right and a shipped a replacement unit that is supposed to be 1.4. However it only splits a 480p signal. Anything higher, and it doesn't work. The green LEDs turn on for a second and then shut off. You can see the output trying to get a video signal but it can't.

Great Splitter
10/4/18 - I have had this splitter connected for a week and it has worked flawlessly! It DOES split my satellite TV signal, but does NOT remove protection. So far, it has not gotten even warm to the touch and the only complaint that I could possibly think up is that the red "ON' LED is pretty bright. There is a red glow coming from the back of my entertainment center... :-)

works exactly as expected. I was able to split my 1080p FIOS signal to both the TV & the projector simultaneously.

Excellent HDMI Splitter
Good product! Easy to install. Split hdmi output from pc to large flat screen and additional monitor. Worked perfectly. Just make sure to correctly configure video setting on Windows10 to “duplicate”.

Splitter great - Power supply has an issue
The splitter functions as advertised. The power supply does not make consistent contact with the power source. The blades are too thin to work with the standard USA power strip. I would rate the rate the product 5 star if the power supply was fixed.
