My husband always complained that chopsticks were too flimsy feeling for him. Well... these are not flimsy! They're a bit heavier, a really good grippy matieral, and a 'masculine' matte black colour. Tactical chopsticks. Who doesn't need them?

Eat all my food with chopsticks. Bamboo were best but wear down and can get waterlogged, metal are better but heavy and burn lips on hot foods, titanium are expensive and fancy.The kabar chopsticks are making me reevaluate plastic chopsticks, because they seem to have the best overall "lazy person who doesn't like to clean stuff quickly or replace things ever" qualities without feeling cheap and flimsy.I wish they had a better taper on the tips, but for all I know that would weaken them. Would also prefer squared handles, but the surface has enough friction that they don't slip or get slick. A little worried about food or bacteria getting into the recessed "KABAR" writing, but hasn't been an issue yet.Excellent quality for price, and actually well designed eating utensil from a bowie knife company.Will update after a few years use or on any failures.
