Schwarzkopf LIVE Colour Lightener Plus Twist Mauve Kiss 105 Hair Dye, Pack of 3

My hair was originally very dark brown, almost black ( naturally ). I then had red dye on top of that. So had to strip, bleach & then lighten a few times. I went from varying shades of brown, bright orange, to a sickly yellow. I wasn't sure this colour was going to work. But thought I'd try it anyway, since I'd gone to so much trouble to prepare my hair for it. I absolutely LOVE it! The still orange tones in my hair have gone a gorgeous Rose Gold. And my hair has shades of pastel pink & pastel pinky purple. I love the contrast & how well it's taken to my hair. The Mauve itself is a unique shade, as far as hair dyes go. I'm so glad I used it. The picture really doesn't do it justice at all. But considering the mess my hair was, when I used the colour - I'm extremely impressed. I have alot of hair, even though it rests on my shoulders. So I used two boxes. Which is standard for me. I left on for 35 minutes in total. Following the instructions of starting at the ends & midlength ( left on for 20 mins ), before doing the roots ( left on for 15 mins ). Your hair would have to be blonde whether that be bleached or natural, in order to benefit from the full effects of this colour. I don't think it would work on a dark brown & wouldn't show up very well on a light brown. To achieve desired results, it's all about prepping your hair first. I'm now going to be using lots of protein treatments & moisturising ones too. Just to get my hair back in tip top condition after the hammering it's just had. Would definitely recommend this product, if you fancy a change, something unique & are open minded about the end results.

I love this colour so much. I was really nervous about trying it because of the number of poor reviews, but decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did! I have naturally dark blonde hair and I didn't pre-lighten it. Only used one pack as my hair was less than shoulder-length. The colour after first application was quite brought, but it faded significantly after the first couple of washes to the same shade as on the box. Then I got a good three weeks (washing every day) before the colour was noticeably fading again. The thing I like the most is that as this fades it goes through several lovely shades of rose gold, so if I don't get around to re-applying it for a while, my hair still looks great! And then when people see the bright freshly-applied colour again I get loads of compliments! I do a whole head application when re-applying the colour, but my hair is short enough that it probably only gets three or four applications before the colour is cut off anyway, so this might but be suitable for longer hair. My hair is in great condition even applying the colour every 4-6 weeks, and there's no noticeable difference in shade where it's applied over existing colour or over undyed roots. I hope the colour never gets discontinued because I don't want to have to find a new shade!

I have just started using this colour. I used to use the LIVE cyber purple, but my grey would always come through and spoil the look...and I'm not the type to dye my hair regularly enough to avoid this. This colour, however, really makes a difference. When it first goes on it's much pinker and more vibrant than the picture on the pack. I love that, because it gives me a lovely head full of pretty pink hair, with no grey. Super! Some might be unhappy about this, having immediately wanted the colour shown. However, as the days/weeks go on, it gradually fades to a really lovely soft mauve, which means it also gradually blends in more and more with grey roots as they start to appear and grow out...making them far less noticeable than if the colour had remained strong. It ends up becoming quite light before the next dose of dye, but that means I don't have to worry about putting it off for a few more days. I have very short hair...and this suits my style. At first, I wasn't sure about the gradual change of colour from pink to pale mauve, but now I've realized it's perfectly timed with my own hair growth, I can't imagine buying anything else. When I say gradual, I don't mean the pink changes to mauve gradually. The pink very quickly dulls to a mauve within days and then the mauve lightens over the next few weeks. I hope this helps others like me who just want an easy way to keep their greys in check. I'm very happy indeed.

Great product of used properly...the lighter the hair the better and you NEED to apply in very thin layers of hair and coat the hair thoroughly, buy two boxes if needed, if you have blonde hair this will definitely come up the colour that’s in the box, any darker and it won’t. Washed out quite quickly but that’s why if you do it yourself for cheap it won’t last, go to your hairdressers if you want a colour like this that last for a long time, but expect to pay in excess of £100+ Cheap, easy way to have a bright colourful change

Nice colour, hasn't really taken on my hair which is medium brown. I used 2 boxes on my just past shoulder length hair and its quite patchy. Just a side note, my hair has never been coloured before either.

My favourite brand by far, was unsure if this would work on my light to dark blonde ombre hair. Worked great on the near platinum tips, not so great up top... Ended up orangey-brown. NOT a good look. Ended up covering the lot in a dark blue black shade and starting over! Advice? Only use on light to platinum blonde hair...

This is a beautiful colour, the smell from the mixture is not too strong. No colour lasts too long on my hair as I wash every other day, but this one lasted longer than normal. Very nice coverage.

Colorazione poco intensa anche se utilizzata seguendo alla lettera le istruzioni. Anche la durata sui capelli è stata molto più breve del previsto
