Psalm 91: God's Shield of Protection Paperback – January 1, 2007

I have where some complain this is truly a pocket sized book. It is supposed to be, it’s military style, so those soldiers, marines, airmen, corpsmen, etc...do not have a lot of room if the are deployed, and if they want to carry this book with them, it will easily fit in their Pockets on the leg of their pants. I personally think it’s a fantastic size. Wish there was one this size for first responders!

I hate to give this only 3 stars, as I know the content is excellent. :( But, I'm so disappointed, and I'm hoping to warn others that it is indeed pocket sized, and I think because of the price ($8.99), I somehow missed the "pocket sized" description. It is 6 X 4 X 1/2 inches. The print is tiny--maybe a point 5?I would return it if I had time and get a normal sized book on Psalm 91, but this is for a service member who's overseas, and his care package is about to go out! I hope he has really good eyesight, and perhaps he will be happy it's really small, since quarters are normally small overseas. God bless everyone whose family/friends are serving. ❤️

To date I have given 5 copies of this book to people who really need to know about this.I consider this critical information for staying safe with what is coming on the earth.

This book is very inspiring. It has a little something in it for everyone. I brought the book thinking I would get page after page of angel stories on the battlefield. There is some of that in this book, but there is so much more. The book is really an analysis of the chapter 91 Psalms, verse by verse. This break down of the verse is a mix of theology, application, and incredible stories. The stories come from a mix of wars, from WWI to present day. I learned some interesting things from those stories. The British public believed in WWI that angels saved them at the battle of Mons. There is a story of Jimmy Stewart being saved through WWII. He also happened to read Psalm 91 constantly. I think this book is a must for any soldiers who are facing deployment. They will find great encouragement in it.

Everyone should read this book! And claim this protection for themselves. God is real and He loves us more than we can ever imagine. He is our creator, like it or not, believe it or not. He wants each of us as individuals to know Him. This is the BEST book I have ever read on this subject parexcellence.

As a MoM of 2 Marines I feel that it helps to comfort the worried mind when it comes to read and meditate on God's word and also hear testimonials of God's protection over military men and women.

I bought this book for husband for when he deployed. I love this military edition. I like how the author took Psalms 91 and broke it down verse by verse. I enjoyed how she worked military storys into the verses. Great book. I have let friends borrow it but I always ask for it back...it is that special to me

I would recommend that everyone read this book! This is not my first purchase, I have given several away. Everyone should know the rich treasures in this book of Psalms. It is very well written and all based on true stories. If you ever are in doubt about God's protection, you should definitely read this book!
