Not going to lie, I had no real plan for this item when I bought it. I just thought it would kind of a cool thing to have and play around with. That being said, after some messing around with it I did find a very nice use for this.This thing is now being used as a dash cam that can be removed and clipped to whatever I want. I have found that even with the 16gb card that I put into it that I still have hours of recording time. I was driving around with this mounted to my rear view mirror facing in front of me. After I parked, I then clipped it to my rear window area to watch the bed of my truck. Yes if someone starting messing with my stuff, they may still be able to take off with it. But this thing may come in very handy in tracking them down when I call the cops! The picture is definitely clear enough to see a make and model of a vehicle and can make out faces. Although a license plate may be tough unless it was at the perfect angle. Either way I am happy I have this little fella watching out for me. Only knock that I really have regarding this unit is the transfer/charging plug. It is not a common cord and will take some doing to find another if and when it breaks. I would have loved if it was just a micro usb/usb as I have tons of those lying around.

For a budget-priced "hidden" camera I think the adage "you get what you pay for" applies best here. I bought this a little over 4 months ago and recently threw it away as it wasn't worth keeping around. One thing you'll want to think about before ordering is placement- where would you want to "hide" a fixed-lens camera? Some homes simply don't have a convenient spot to hide something like this without it either being visible or not being at a good angle so the pictures come out poor. I didn't love the quality of the photos themselves but, again, for $30 you can't expect top-tier quality.There are practical uses for this where the $30 price point will do the job that's needed but if I'm worried enough about something that I want to get an undercover and/or night vision camera, I think I'll shell out the extra money for a higher quality camera.

Teeny tiny, and simple to set up. Charge it up, slip the SD card in, and you are more or less ready to go.I actually bought this as a possible security camera, and it works well. The sound quality is really good, I was SO surprised about this, and the picture quality is quite good as well. It's a little bit fiddly to get set up, but it was relatively easy to figure out the motion detection. I haven't tried the night vision part yet, so we'll see how that goes, but I'll be excited to get it to work because I'd really like to know why I wake up tired... am I restless at night? Hopefully this little camera will tell me!I'd love to give this camera 5 stars, but a couple of things irritated me: the lack of an SD card that comes with it (no option that I could see) and a non-standard cable, so good luck if I misplace the darned thing. It's similar to the android cables I have, but smaller, so it won't work with anything else.

It has a motion detection and photo mode but you cannot set it to only take photos when there is motion. You have to manually take photos. I reached out to the seller and they confirmed that is the case.I also had issues with it not recording after turning off the lights. It was recording, I turned off the light and then back on but it did not resume recording!!

I bought 3 of these. They record well and have very good picture quality. I use them mostly for a Dash Cam. I have noticed at times the camera does not work well with the computer. Constantly plugging it in and out until it finally works. I grabbed one of the other USB cables that I had not used yet and it worked great for about 2 months. Then it also started acting up. I tried the cable from the 3rd camera and that also worked great for about 2 months. I then went and bought a cable from a camera store. Works fantastic. I haven't had any problems sense . The cable that I purchased was Model-TR-AD1200. Cost $13.95

Just received this in the mail today and it is pretty small and everything works fine. However, the night vision and motion sensor mode is impossible to activate! such complicated controls. When you are pressing the buttons your timing has to be PERFECT to switch to night vision and motion sensor. I've only succeeded twice so far, have yet to see night vision working. Why not just have a third button for night vision and motion sensor instead of one power switch that controls everything by how long you hold the button for?

This is a great light, love the idea from an earlier review to place it on the side of the refrig for power outages. The light itself is really great, I have used this type for about 5 years while camping and this type is my choice, small with a lot of light. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I have purchased a few in the past from campgrounds for about the same price but batteries were included with them. You need to unscrew these and put 3 AAA batteries inside. But on the other hand, I don't think my old flashlights like these had the magnet. I would recommend this light, it is a powerful little light.

As you get the product you receive a very nice email from the owner. That was a great start. I am slightly challenged to button sequences etc. So for the moment I have no idea how it works but can see that when you figure it out it is an impressive picture. Defiantly have not figured out the sound. But I feel like after learning the tricks I like the way it is built and the size. I will update if I cant figure it out but they are also very helpful to help you understand how to use the cam.UPDATE: I absolutely have to add a few words about this seller and company. I haven't even had time to look at the camera yet really. Before I even looked at it really they had contacted me to assure me help was there if needed and your satisfaction was the goal.
