This was good enough for a costume, not sure I would wear it out in public.

I wasn't expecting this vest to be as soft and supple as it is. I'm planning on customizing it for use and wear onstage and it's perfect in being light and not too thick or heavy. There will be customized patches added as well as studs and chainmaile and because of the softness of the leather, this vest is not too difficult to sew through. It arrived fairly quickly and it's perfect for what I need it for!

Obviously for the price, these vests are going to be pretty low Quality, but for costumes they looked like just what we needed, until they arrived. They have no size on the listing, leading you to believe they are one size, ehich makes sense given that they have adjustable side laces right?Nope. The whole lot of them is Medium and wont fit the acerage adult.Now Im scrambling to find something last minute for our production... So learn from my error!

Attended a Halloween WWE theme party. Purchased this gem and with the help of a cricket, made a legit stone cold Steve Austin vest…. So worth the $15. Product is very potent out of the bag/box and chose to let it air out in garage for a few weeks. No issues and it returns to the costume box for some other outfit next year.

I needed a vest for a steampunk costume and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. When it arrived I was very pleased. It looks great and fits as expected. I had read several people complain about the terrible chemical smell. I have worked with leather before and recognized the smell as the dye used to get the good, dark black color. A couple of days out of the plastic bag it was shipped in has resolved the issue. The vest is pretty light weight (consider the cost) but I ordered it close-fitting and so far it is holding up great.

It arrived quicker than expected. By a day. Good quality leather, pig leather or whatever. Very good stitching, nicely made. As other people say, it does have a funny smell but it doesn't knock you out or anything. The smell is like the vest was stored in a bag with mothballs. I can deal with it and expect it will gradually go away with time. I will only wear it on my bike. If I were in close proximity to others in a crowd I might think differently. However I do expect the smell to go away with time.

Very good product for the price, could be a little heavier material.
