I fancy myself somewhat of an amateur artist and the main tools I use are a lot of acrylic paint pens, gel pens, soft pastels and watercolors on mixed media art paper, 300 GSM cardstock, and art boards. This watercolor set has really nice vibrant colors, mix well, and the case makes the palette easy to take along with you on your travels. Super convenient and protective. I use watercolor pens a lot too, so with those and the case this set comes in - clean up is a breeze. Would highly recommend this set for amateurs/beginners.

Honestly, I bought them because they were cheap as a birthday present for myself. Normally, I buy the big-name artist's quality only. They were cheap enough that if they were garbage, I could give them to a little kid to use. But I like them so far. They kind of remind me of gouache paint (more opaque than watercolor). The colors seem to be opaque enough that I can have areas of transparent and solid color. Long term, I don't know how transient the colors will be (whether they fade) but I am using them in my sketchbook so it's not commissioned pieces. Long term, will they fade? I'll revise my review if they do.There are a few colors that are very close in hue (duplicate colors). But that's okay I am glad to have extra pans. The metal box is good and easy to open. No mixing area, just half pans.I just bought another set to keep in my backpack for painting on the go. Give them a try. If you don't like them, gift them to a young artist.

The product arrived quickly and was appropriately packaged. The container is well made with many areas to hold water and paint mixing. I spray the surfaces of the paints as recommended to soften them. The colors are fantastic for the fantasy themed projects that are my current work. I would welcome a strong clear red option in my next purchase and I will buy again.

I have been using the paint now for a few days and I do like them. I am not a fan of the metallics, but I shouldn’t have bought a kit that had them in it. I also miss not having the water dipping tin, but I can use another other than that the paints seem, nice and vibrant and there’s a good selection of colors

I've enjoyed the portability and ease of use of these colors for quick sketches. Fair price. The box is great for grab and go and paint. These are great artsy colors.

This has been some top quality paints at a great cost.

Nice and compact so it is easy to carry around as it also comes with a nice velvet pouch. The quality of the paints is good for the price and lovely variety of colours!

i colori sono piccoli ma direi sufficienti. utili i supporti carta x dipingere x le prove di colore. bello il sacchettino per custodire il tutto.pennelli da provare ma alla peggio ne prendo altri più vicini al mio stile.
