Very good item to have to help my pond fish stay healthy

Quality product just what I wanted

This is an update on my previous review. With a photo. The thermometer can no longer be read. Not only is it green but the plastic tube is now crazing. Unless you want to dip and remove, forget it. Do not buy This may be fine for a swimming pool with chemicals to keep it clean. However in a fish pond it goes green with algae which is difficult to remove entirely due to it being essentially a tube within a tube. Mine is also going green on the inside of the thermometer tube. At the moment it is readable due to its decent size but not sure how long for.

Works well. Very simple and easy to use. Effective too. Two months use so far and no regrets.

The thermometer is great and clearly indicates the pool temperature. The pool is a cosy 36 degrees today. But the tie string is so fragile. I tied it 3 times. Each time it broke again. I've now assigned one of my kids to stand by the pool and hold the thermometer.

This was purchased so that, in our occasionally frozen climate, I could tell when it is warm enough to safely feed our pond fish. It floats happily around the pond on its tether and does the job with a clearly readable scale and temperature level mark. I cannot pretend to be able to communicate with my fishy friends, but judging from their reaction when they received their first post-winter feed this is a most welcome addition to their watery world.

I like everything about this except that I've got a bit of algae covering the lens making it difficult to read the temperature. There are holes to allow water in the stem to make it float vertically in the water and algae has set up home inside the thermometer. I can read the temperature, it's just not as clear as I'd like. Maybe it needs a little redesign? Works well.

The scale is easier to read than our last thermometer, so 5 stars for that. It stays upright if you submerge it slowly enough to let water enter the bottom hole, which lets air escape from the top hole as it fills, otherwise, it floats prone for a short while until the water seeps in. It would be nice if it had a suction cup on the end of the string so it could attach to the pool wall.

Preciso e dai gradi ben leggibili, essenziale come volevo io. Verificata la tolleranza di misura con altri strumenti, tutto ok
