Nothing like the Batana Oil I have been used to - no smell, very thick. This looks like deodorized and mixed with something else...Just going to return this.

I’ve never heard of batana oil before. I don’t know how this compares. It has a very smooth consistency. Thick. A little goes a long way. Pleasant smell. I live in a humid climate, anywhere I put this sweats. I can’t verify it’s helping hair grow back or anything. Seems very expensive at full price, but at near half, not bad to try.

At first, I thought the jar was full of powder and was concerned about opening it, thinking it would cause a mess. Thankfully, it's not. It's more of a gel type liquid. It smells really good! It reminds me of the smell of opening a new jar of bubbles as a kid. It has a clean, soap kind of smell to it. It says to apply and keep on for 20 minutes and then rinse off, but it doesn't say if it's supposed to be daily or not, so I'm not entirely sure how to use it. It didn't come with instructions.

My hair is growing at an alarming rate thanks to this potent potion. It's practically a living organism now. People stop me on the street to ask about my hair care routine. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to braid my hair down to my ankles by next week. And maybe start my own hair-based business.This brand of oil is better for hair care than as skin care because of it thickness.

My hair has always been fine and very dry so I was really curious to try Batana Oil. It's a lot thicker and waxier feeling than I expected and doesn't spread as easily as the coconut oil I usually use. I tried to spread the paste in my hands and carefully worked it through my hair and let sit for a few hours before washing. I really appreciate that it does not have a fragrance and that it washed out easily even with the mild shampoo and conditioners that I use. The next day I have to say that my hair looked pretty good...not as dry and frizzy at the top, smooth, shiny...and not weighed down by any residual oils. No miracles yet, but I know that this product is meant to be used regularly for the best results and I am looking forward to adding it into my bi-weekly routine!

Batana oil is not sticky it’s more stiff than soft. I had to rub it in between my fingers to warm it enough to go onto my scalp evenly. The scent isn’t very very strong but you can smell it. I saw a bunch of reviews that said they saw results within 3-6 days. I did not I know consistency will bring forth results within 2-3 weeks. It was easy to wash off and was a great hot oil treatment for my scalp. I didn’t experience any itching or shedding when I washed it out I have an itchy scalp and doing 1 treatment a week helped my scalp to stop itching as much. I haven’t seen a lot of growth but I do have a healthier scalp skin.
