Beautiful Placemats that are now practical for everyday use
I have a collection of Villeroy and Boch Garden tableware and linens which I purchased a long time ago. Those table linens are cotton and while they are very beautiful, once they are washed they are not the same. The color fades and their appearance is just not as "crisp", even after ironing. Therefore, I use them for décor only. When I came across these polyester ones that are water repellent and stain proof, I was delighted, however, the color is slightly less vibrant than the cotton. You can maybe see the difference in the photos as the napkins are cotton, as well as the two placemats to the right in one photo and forefront in the other photo. The polyester ones are still beautiful, but more practical for everyday use without worry of them staining or fading.

It's a bit bigger than I expected, but it's so pretty and elegant. The color and pattern are just perfect for spring!
