I love this design of cable clip / cord organiser (which is what some manufacturers call them). That is because they are one of the easiest to use due to their hinged design and the small magnets inside them which hold the clips shut. They are very light and you stick them up using the double sided sticky tape on the bottom of them.I've had loads before that are made from a cheaper type of plastic and therefore they were much cheaper. These are definitely made with a much higher grade of plastic and they just look and feel better as soon as you pick one up and have a closer look at it. However, they have gone to far the other way on the price and are actually way too expensive to make then viable for a large scale deployment.They really do need to find a midway between the price and the performance in terms of the quality of the clip because as they stand I wouldn't want to buy any more at £1 a clip, and the only reason why I have given them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of that rather large price tag.

These little clips have transformed my life! Well, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration but they are pretty fantastic!Such a simple idea. You stick them to a clean surface and pop your wire in and it stays in place, doesn’t get tangled and means I’m not on my hands and knees under the desk looking for dropped wires.You also get a couple of spare sticky pads in case you want to move one.Brilliant product.

I am reviewing an 8 pack of self-adhesive magnetic cable clips, priced £12.99 at time of ordering.I own two other sets of similar magnetic cable clips and although these are pretty good I do prefer my others. Firstly, these have a smaller hole for the cable which is a little tight on my thicker cables. Secondly, while my others stay open until you push them closed, these do not stay open and instead snap closed automatically. I am often replacing cables one handed while my other hand is full, and this is tricky to do if you have to hold the clip open while you pop the cable in with the same hand. I’ve only docked one star as these things may not bother other people and they do generally work as intended.
