Blackstar B1-MAX Mobile Phone Holder for Car Dashboard/Windshield with Multi Angle Rotation and Adjustment (Supports All Mobiles)

I was very sceptical about a mobile holder in my newly purchased Ford EcoSport. After a long long search through different sites and products, came across this beauty. As such this has 2 varieties i.e. MX-1 and this one MMH-2. I spoke to the customer care who advised me to go with this as it has more sturdy body and stronger magnets than MX-1. Gone with MMH-2. Manmeet, one of the customer care executives, helped me with all details I need before purchase. He even helped me finding the best place to install it in my car; they have it ready for all car models I understand. After installing as per their directives (extremely important for long terms usage and fault free installation); I used it for a long journey of about 250 km round trip. It never disappointed me, not for a single moment; be it on breakers, rumble strips or extremely bad off-roading. and yet getting my mobile out of the holder is so easy. overall, extremely satisfied with the product. I hope it runs for long and doesn't let me have a different opinion in long term usage. Keep up making quality products in affordable price range...kudos to Blackstar team. Edit 1 (February 2022): After using this gem for one full year and numerous long & short trips on both good & bad roads; I still feel it’s the best decision I made to choose this over others. Only one word of caution, DO NOT use the circular metal plate as your mobile will keep on rotating (will not come out though) while on the go and it creates a hindrance while seeing maps, etc. Always go with the rectangular metal plate and it’s rock solid. Edit 2 (August 2023): Another year & half passed and it works still as rock solid as it was when I first installed it in January 2021. I'm so impressed with its functionality, I purchased another one of the same model and installed it in front of passenger seat for my wife to hang her mobile during long road trips rather than holding it in hand and keep leaning which put pressure on the neck & shoulder. When no mobile is there, it enhances the beauty of interior of my car. Many of my friends and relatives admired this beauty inside my car; it really adds to it. Edit 3 (April 2025): 4 years & 3 months passed and both of my holders are still working as rock solid as they were on Day 1. Now for my other car (again Ford Ecosport but an older pre-facelift model) I bought a Titan Mag model. Before this purchase, I discussed thoroughly with one of the customer care executives (Sachin) about which mode to choose to best fit for my car, pros & cons of other models, durability, best places to install inside my car, etc. Only after all my questions answered by him satisfactorily, I have gone ahead with the purchase. They are extremely professional & live up to their promise. Word of caution to all fellow purchasers: Please DO follow their instructions for installation very very carefully. Watch the installation video (it’s lengthy, almost like a mini movie) very diligently before complaining about non-stickiness of the mount, not holding on your car, etc. Believe me, you can’t go wrong if you follow them blindly. It’s years of research put together which they are supporting you with for your benefit only. And let those experts guide you on the perfect place to install inside your car as well; they have it ready for almost all older & newer models of the cars plying on road. I noticed some people installing mobile holder on steering wheel horn pad or other vulnerable places. Please refrain from installation on such places in your car. In case of deployment of air bag (hope that situation never occurs); the holder & your mobile mounted on it will act as bullet and instead of saving your life by air bag, it will enhance the danger, can be fatal even.

I am reviewing this product Nano Mag after using it on and off for about 3months. This magnetic mobile holder is very good and offers good value at 300 In my experience with other mobile phone holders this has been more reliable and its size will allow it to be installed in many regions of the dashboard or even the mirror if needed The installation instructions and support for the product are more than expected, the team of Blackstar will follow-up with the user to ensure everything is fine. They have also included extra stickers, glue, plates if the installation goes wrong The mobile holder has strong enough magnets to stably hold the phone when driving, so far has not detached with reasonable use. My car is the Wagon R 2023 and phone is Moto G73 which weighs around 200-225g and I have installed it on black plastic textured area as seen on the image Tips if buying- Watch the installation videos to find compatible areas in your vehicle and accordingly plan where your phone will function best to your need DO NOT BUY the Nano Mag magnetic holder if your phone is very heavy/bulky, the magnet will support around 200g of weight, you might have to remove your phone case. Better buy a bigger magnet than the Nano Mag

I recently purchased this car mobile holder, and I’m genuinely impressed with its quality and performance. The build feels sturdy, the grip is strong, and it keeps my phone perfectly stable even on bumpy roads. Installation was quick and hassle-free, and the design is sleek enough to blend well with any car interior. One thing I especially appreciate is how securely it holds the device without blocking important buttons. It’s been incredibly convenient for navigation and hands-free calls. My only suggestion for improvement would be regarding the ring attachment provided for the phone. Since it can only be used with a single device, it limits flexibility when someone else wants to use the holder. It would be great if the manufacturer could include an extra ring or introduce an alternative mounting option so multiple users can benefit. Overall, it’s a fantastic product and offers great value for the price. Highly recommended!

The phone holder is not working properly. The gum/adhesive is not good quality. After locking it, the holder stays for some time, but while driving the car, it becomes loose and the phone holder falls down. This makes it unreliable and unsafe to use during driving. I am not satisfied with this product.

Update of review after replacement: The price is really good. The phone didn’t fall even on bumps. I installed the base as they showed in YouTube video and the base has fixed like a rock now. Very good product. I’ll try to update the video or photo of the working product in coming days. Original review: I’ll update the review soon after a replacement or return request. But in the interim, the product quality is very good. The magnet the body the youtube video explanation - all are fabulous. Return/refund only because my piece did not have proper glue installed. That can be one-off scenario. And, it only proves that the magnet is really strong and will hold the phone well and stable. It also seems easy to install but I’ll update as soon as possible on that. I’ve not installed it in car yet.

Amazing Product. Magnet is strong to hold a 210 grams phone. But costly but worth the price, the finishing and rubbery texture comes with a price. Very easy to fix if you follow the instructions properly and I'm using Oneplus 9R it's 6.63 inches and fits perfectly into the space. I just needed a magnetic holder to keep it firm in it's place (see pictures for reference) it does the job well and I hope it'll come for years.
