Frustrating
I have used this fancy grinder and I have used a plastic $1.00 grinder from the weed store; the result being that the cheap plastic one is more efficient. This metal grinder is small and requires much digging out of the weed that gets stuck between the "teeth". The extra compartment at the bottom is supposedly to collect the kief, but there's never been enough in there to write home about. Bottom line... If you want a fancy grinder, do your research first. Otherwise, just get a cheap plastic one that works as well, and sometimes better.

Get's stuck and wont turn.
I have one that is larger than this. Ive had it for 3 years with no issues. I bought this smaller one and it gets stuck and very hard to turn. The 2 inch design is very hard to UN stick. I got this in the mail last week and I've only used it 3 or 4 times. It got stuck and I tried forever to get it undone. It wouldnt budge. I had to take a hammer to it. Had to keep smashing it to get it open and get my material out of the grinder. Unusable now. Now sending it back for a refund. Life span was 1 week. Im now back to using my 3 year old one and looking for a new one again on amazon.

Great for the price (updated version 2018, not the crank version)
Great grinder for the price. Comes with a pollen scraper, a nice fine screen, and the holes in the actual grinding part are a perfect size.I would have given 5 stars, but it appears that there may have been very SLIGHT shipping damages. A few blemishes/scratches on the grinder as well as a few on the inside, but nothing to complain about. Also had a bit of dust inside so I just sprayed it out with compressed air and it's good to go :)Works well!Edit: Around 5-6 months later now, I had to drop to 2 stars.I'm probably going to have to purchase a new grinder and I'm afraid the hype has died down quite a bit. There's a metal ring between the two pieces you're twisting to grind your herbs. This has started to come off. Also - there's a plastic ring holding the screen in to the grinder - (this SHOULD be METAL). It's held up so far, but the screen and the plastic slightly flex with ANY sort of pressure, (yikes). On another note: The chamber that holds your herbs is NOT deep enough, making it very easy to spill. This is something I will definitely keep in consideration when purchasing my next one.I can't say I recommend this purchase, definitely look go with something else. For my next one, I'll probably just bite the bullet and purchase a quality grinder for $30.00-$40.00.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money. I bought this for my medical marijuana. I twist and I twist and I turn and I turn and I turn and it barely grinds up what’s in there. I’ve tried putting a lot and putting a little. It doesn’t matter. You turn and you turn and you turn and you push down and it barely grinds anything up. Now I’m gonna have to buy another one.

Top lid magnetic closure doesn't stay on well
I really like this design, mostly because it has no ugly logo or brand name on it. The only problem is the top lid doesn't screw on, it has only a magnetic closing, and the magnet force isn't strong enough. If you hardly move this, it will be fine. But, it doesn't travel well at all, because the lid will open and stuff will spill out. I can't figure out why they didn't bother making this secure enough to close tightly so it may be carried in a pack or purse.

Ordered by mistake
I thought I was re ordering the Golden Bell version but ordered this one by mistake. Both of these products I bought broke within 2 weeks of use. Very cheaply put together and horrible quality. Find one for a few dollars more and you wont regret it.

You get what you pay for
All I can say for this is that you get what you pay for. An 8 dollar grinder obviously won’t be as good as say a 20 dollar one, but it’s less than half the cost. The grinder does what it needs to, although little crumbs do get left in the teeth. I’ve found it’s easiest just to tap them out. Haven’t had any problems with the paint chipping off at all. There isn’t a lot of space in the compartment where you’re shredded bud sits so it’s pretty easy to overload it. If you’re looking for a grinder that you can grind up a lot with, I would recommend a different one. But this one is great for taking places, it’s small, sleek and inconspicuous to the untrained eye.
