For what the Modiwell is, it is the best dry flush toilet on the market for the price. I did consider the Laveo at nearly double the price, but looked also at the disposable material that has to be repurchased and the double-the-price dry flush toilet's disposables last half as long, basically, as that of the Modiwell's disposable material. I also believe that the Modiwell's disposable material (along with your business) are biodegradable and I don't recall that being the case with the other toilet's material. Is it perfect? Well...we are talking about the thing most of us would rather not think about until we have to do it, right? And in most homes, it flushes away where we DON'T think about it, but if you are in an RV or camping without access, this, in my opinion, is the absolute best over ALL the rest. The battery does need charging, but lasts a long time and tells you (on the front panel) how much of a charge the battery still has. What I really love is that THIS toilet's legs fold so it "packs down" for easier transport (and only weighs 17 pounds, yet can hold big ladies like myself - states that it will hold up to 350 pounds of weight on the toilet and while I'm not near that, I'm a larger lady and it holds me just fine). There are a couple of things that I need to share - one is that I apparently loaded my first set of bags poorly (I read the instructions, but apparently didn't do it just right) and the little wheels that the bag material must pass through to seal each business bag, they got wrapped in plastic and I had to tear the plastic away from the wheels. I ended up throwing that first set of bags away as it seemed that whatever happened on my first few test uses, those little wheels kept getting covered in plastic. I was VERY engaged and gentle with the second set of bag material and have had no issues with it at all (so as stated, operator error on the first roll), but do be very gentle and careful when loading the material, is all I want to say. Second thing, I wish the bags were...dark blue, dark green, just anything but white! I'm just saying that I have to pick up these little bags and I'd prefer not to be able to see anything in them at all!!! Other than that, for the price, this is truly the one I'd pick again and again.

Perfect for OFF GRID set up! We remodeled our detached garage workshop into a studio ourselves. Trying to get bids to add plumbing and a new electric box was going to be absolutely outrageous (like $60k)!! Forget it! We did it ourselves instead. So we found the Smart Dry Flush toilet as our solution. It works great great no water needed and seal away the mess! We always have a problem when something happens to our water well in the main house. Now we have a back up plan! If you have an off grid set up this is perfect for it! One note we have bad knees so the height is a little low. My husband made a little riser to get it to our standard ADA potty height. Other than that it’s absolutely perfect! Looked at so many options and we felt this was the best available!

Solid, well made toilet that is actually decent looking. We've just begun putting it through its paces, but so far it takes care of "business" exactly as claimed - heat sealed bags that can be easily disposed of. Because it doesn't have a holding tank or require a water source, we've been able to relocate it just behind the driver's seat - opening up an entire cabinet for always-scarce storage.Our unit shipped without the "jig" that is used to load and align the waste bag roll. No fear, though, as their customer service rep (Maricel) was IMMEDIATELY available. They are express mailing a part from China, but better still, they provided me the rough dimensions and I 3D printed a temporary substitute. I am extremely satisfied!

Great Company! This toilet is the best for our camper van. It really works well and is such a nice clean way to take care of toileting. We can use it at the back of our van or bring outside, which is really convenient. It is comfortable and just the right height for my husband (6ft. 3") and me (5ft. 5"). Best of all I REALLY recommend this company... they amazed us when my husband called them up to tell them he had misplaced the charger and they sent us a NEW one FREE!

This is a very well made and good valued dry flush toilet. We use ours in are minibus for traveling with our two big dogs and when Camping/boon-docking. Both my wife and I tend to be on the larger side, and this toilet works fine or us. The weight and size is good for minibuses and vans and its easily stored in small spaces. The setup and ease of use of this dry flush toilet is great also. No smell once sealed.

I recently converted my Garage into a livable unit. This Dry Flush toilet has been perfect for our needs! It is strong and sturdy. Comfortable. Lightweight and easy to move. Compact and doesn’t take up much space. And it works incredibly well!! I can definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a portable toilet that works without plumbing!

Great, light weight toilet. Easier cleanup than flushing a black tank for sure. Having it's own internal battery makes boondocking a cinch. The sealed bag sections hold in the smell and the coagulant works well. As others have stated, it's about $1 per flush and there's no other provider for refills. So that can be a bummer. However, the manufacturer is accurate in saying about 30 flushes per bag roll.For the men: First, here is no way I've found to avoid splash back if standing while doing number 1 (I don't dare go right on the heat-sealed seam). Second, while sitting, your part will touch the bag in front. So, scoot back for number one and scoot forward for number two to make sure everything goes into the right spot.
