PARKER Safety Razor Men Long Handle Heavyweight Butterfly Open Razors And 5 Platinum Double Edge Blades

I already own a bunch of Indian razors. I kept wondering how Parker would up the ante. And boy was I in for a please reply surprise.The razor features heavy, solid and luxurious build quality. It looks amazing too with its regal design. I love the barber pole design for the handle - it looks so elegant and stylish while also making it very easy to grip the razor firmly (even When it’s wet with soap).Paired with the Parker blades in the package, the razor offers an excellent shave. I have a thick beard and shave daily. So the medium aggression offered by Parker is perfect. It gives me a nice comfy and efficient shave for a day or two of beard. Also, I love the audible feeds back that is provided by this blade and razor combo - it’s very satisfying.The razor is very easy to clean - something I was worried about since this features a Twist To Open design.Overall I think this razor is a great product for someone who has at least a year or two experience in shaving. If you have thick beard and want a daily shaver, this will be a great product for you. If you have a thin beard and want or for your weekly shave, this will also be a good product, as the razor only has medium aggressiveness and is very forgiving even for clumsy shavers (basically it’s hard to cut to nick yourself with this gentle giant).

Good quality double edge razor blades from Gillette and Super max.This particular razor the Parker 99R is medium aggressive razor and is very popular in the USA and Europe for its build quality, fit and finish and quality of shave. You can google check the reviews on USA online vendor sites. Use zero pressure of the skin, unlike cartridge razor and you get a very close and comfortable shave which will last a whole day without any skin irritation or redness.I highly recommend this razor. It feels substantial in the hand due to its all brass metal construction. I recommend this for anyone starting off or mature shavers looking for a better shave than the substantially more expensive plastic cartridge razors.The DE blades are so cheap that I don't use a blade for more than 3-4 shaves, which means i am always using a sharp new blade always. Earlier thanks to the high cost of a cartridge razor, I used to keep pushing a blade even when less sharp for more than its life to justify its cost. This used to cause me severe skin issues and irritation and redness.Build quality : All brass heavy chrome finish. Very high quality. It is one of the heaviest DE razor in the market and very popular due to its weight for an effortless, zero pressure shave.Fit and finish : 5 stars - very thick chrome plating on brass razor. Very showy. Very smooth butterfly mechanism. The blade is aligned equally on both sides making the shave quality equal and smooth.Shave quality : very efficient and smooth. With zero pressure gives a very clean baby bottom shave in two passes. Best to use a shaving cream and brush instead of the gel or foam which is not as slick as a shaving cream lathered on face. Shave quality is much better than a cartridge razor.

I moved after using Gillette razors (Fusion, Mach3 etc) for close to 20 years always wanting for a clean shave and I must say I am not disappointed. Many in the reviews have mentioned that this is aggressive but I didn't get cut or nicks though am new to safety razors probably its because of Gillette platinum blades that I used.Build quality is good, weighted well overall am happy having used it for a week. Price is slightly on the higher side.

I bought it as a father's day gift. My father loved this! Fine craftsmanship, very elegant design.

The razor is good to use and i dont feel any problems. Plating, grip and balance is good. However the two butterfly doors are not perfectly aligned when closed. Practically, this may not be affecting the deformation of the blade because visual inspection with a magnifying glass did not show any symmetry difference of blade between both sides. This observation indicates a requirement for better quality control in production process. The cost of product is high and such issues are not expected by a customer. The company has no direct support whereas some other companies have direct customer support which is reassuring to anyone spending somuch on a razor. I will keep the razor but i have ordered another brand razor directly at their company website.This razor is very aggressive and suitable only for a well experienced DE shaving person. Not suggested for beginners or those with sensitive skin.

Not open & closed,very bad product,please arrange return!! Only two shave 🪒 not working, very bad service.
